I'm not seeing a problem. What problems do you envision when teens and pre-teens are taught basic concepts of sexual health?

He probably thinks children are angels and would never get pregnant or an STD if only they went to church and read the Bible instead of engaging in sinful sex.

Our first sex-ed class was in 5th grade and we knew more than what the Mennonite nurse was going to tell us. The goal quickly became who could ask her questions anonymously on note cards that caused her to blush. I asked about oral sex and she turned about 3 shades of red.

Even the sex-ed in sophomore and junior years of high school barely scratched on birth control.

I was 17 before I got my first education class...when the teacher finished the class there was an almighty scramble by the boys to retrieve their unanswered questions


On a side note I had neck surgery in the UK about 20 years ago. I was waiting to see a doctor in her waiting room and was looking through the magazines there. Most were boring nature magazines but one was aimed a teen girls called "Miss M"
In the problems page was printed part of a letter - some girl said she was thinking about giving her boyfriend oral sex and wanted to know how hard to suck.
The answer was to go to MacDonald's and buy a vanilla shake - that was how hard.
 
I don't expect any of you Leftists to have a problem with the social engineering in this curriculum. It's work so well on most of you.

How is teaching the basic concepts of health and sex education an act of social engineering? What do you fear that ill happen if school-aged children are taught facts about health and sexual orientation or gender identity of their classmates? Are you afraid that it will make them LGBT?

What I know about LGBT was learned on my own and not in the classroom until I was a sophomore/Jr in college. There was no discussion of either sexual orientation or gender in my K-12 school.

I understand the claim that it better if adolescent students have sex with "trained educators" than school yard kids their own age - and in my opinion that is advocacy of sadistic pedophilia and rape.

Doubtless then you object to children learning about sex from their parents.

To be honest I don't really see this as that big of a deal. I do understand that some parents don't want their kids to be gay. But they have to deal with it. I wouldn't think telling kids about it would make them gay.

If you think the only reason you're not gay is because nobody told you about it when you were a kid then you're not straight.

I'm most concerned that it's the State doing it. This experiment will mold these children for life.

I have no problem with those who think this is OK but, IMO, they're not seeing the big picture.

Not only that but a reason there is so much hate directed towards gays is that not enough education is given to kids.

Homosexuals are demonized.

Proof of that is with the attitude of many US Christian churches.

Did it possibly occur to you that these topics happen on a scale and are phased in as the students are able to understand them and they become relevant in their lives?

I've lived inn this area since the 80s. I've seen how a leftist ideology can educate people and who they elect to government them..

Americans think that the Democratic party is "leftist"..One even called it the "Democrat Communist" party.


They have no idea what communism is.
