Sure. Democrats have already showed that they are perfectly willing to ignore basic legal principles such as "innocent until proved guilty" when there is a political objective they wish to achieve.
Uh, no, but you mean trump having his cult chant 'lock her up' constantly, and calling for his political opponents to be jailed? You're projecting.
Democrats have already showed that they are willing to nationalize certain industries on the pretext of "helping" the citizens.
Oh, the horror, of public education, public libraries, public police and fire, public roads, Social Security, the Veterans Administration healthcare. Republicans have shown they are willing to privatize anything, creating corruption, harmful agendas for profit (e.g., private prisons and longer jail sentences as favors to them for political donations), inefficiencies for profits.
Democrats have already showed that they prefer international policies which weaken our position in favor of a social globalist agenda.
Idiotic attack.
Democrats have already showed that they view the Constitution as a disposable historical hiccup rather than as viable, effective and necessary framework maintaining individual and national liberty.
You're projecting again. For just an example this week, the five radical right on the Supreme Court violating the constitution's religious neutrality by claiming the Christian cross to be a secular, non-religious symbol in order to allow it on public land, or giving Republicans what they want with approval for radical partisan Gerrymandering.
This new group wants to take all those things that Democrats have already identified as their goals and making them a reality.
Like more fiscal responsibility, protecting the public's interest from corporate abuses, people having healthcare and education. The horror!
In short, Democrats have become unhappy with the idea that there is opposition to the things they want to achieve so instead of finding alternate ways to achieve those goals they are now seeking to impose their way on everyone else.
You're projecting again. First, you just described democracy - people who want policies and vote for laws. Second, you're the fricken party who just passes unconstitutional bans on abortion in multiple states, and is wholly owned by corrupt interests against the American people.
In this very thread, you have right-wingers advocating for Republicans getting to 'oppose' homosexuality - the history including jailing people for gay sex and banning the right to marry - and you talk about imposing 'their way on everyone else'.
You made your case, and it's lacking.
