Georgia fugitives captured by homeowners - CNN.com

apparently, other reports are saying at least one of the homeowners used an AR 15 to help apprehend these escaped murderers
The homeowner was alerted somehow, he looked outside and saw the suspects trying to steal his vehicle," Lt. Bill Miller from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said late Friday.
The homeowner called his neighbor and both men, each armed with a gun, confronted the fugitives.

Cases like this, draw little praise or attention from anti 2nd folks. They will likely say, the presence of the weapon increased the likely hood of someone being injured.

I dunno. This sounds like an unauthorized citizen committing an armed kidnapping. Better get the FBI to investigate.

Yeah. I heard more than one talking head choke on their words as they repeated Rand Paul's claim that if the armed security wasn't present there's have been a massacre. They absolutely HATE the idea that someone might stop a crime by using a gun. It's a concept that flat out threatens the validity of their ideology and they hate it.

Glad they caught the guys and that nobody else was harmed.

Bad guys getting shot doesn't bother me all that much, somehow. I'll work on that for a minute here, and see if I can get all worked up................................................................................................................................................................................

...Nah. It ain't working. I guess I just don't care enough. Oh well. Anybody want a beer?

I think both of them were taking payments from the Russian government.

Would of saved a lot of tax $ if they just shot both. They could both say they lunged at em and they feared for their life and shot, that would likely have been the extent of the investigation, case closed!

No, it would have been vigilantism and landed the "armed citizens" in a boatload of trouble.

Yeah, but you gotta think about messing up the driveway or the car, or both. The blood you could hose off - no big deal - but divits and holes would be a pain.

So the perps didn't take the homeowners guns and shoot them? Or better yet the homeowners didn't shoot each other? Much, much sarcasm on.

Yeah I'm sure detectives would've worked mucho overtime investigating someone who killed a cop killer

"He twisted and put his hand under his shirt"

Officer: "ok"

Officers report:" justified"

That would be the investigation

I helped a cop capture a criminal once; downtown on Samsome Street, 'bout 1982. It was a physical tussle that took us all into the bushes; we got him cuffed, I was unarmed.

Will Turtledude make a thread about that?

no of course not

Bet you would have jumped right in to this one barehanded too. Btw, completely different scenario....good for you but how was what you did pertinent to capturing two armed and very dangerous criminals? Given what you said in the past, the two citizens should have apprehended these clowns bare handed. They did not need those firearms after all.

Would us making a thread about it lauding your willingness to get involved help you feel better?

'Bout 35 years ago. Was he armed and dangerous?Or wanted for purse snatching?Fast forward to 2017, are you still going to be the unarmed hero?

You don't need a gun to be brave enough to help the cops when they need it. So a gun in such a story means nothing and is nothing special.

I was much more afraid of every Bubba and Jim Bob in being on edge with their Super Uzi Bazookas and Child Killer 7000s. It's a miracle no one got shot because they think they heard somethin' over thar in the bushes.

Glad no one was hurt.

I'm sad you have so much fear.

When you were in the bushes did you happen to see Sean Spicer?

Except if you know or strongly believe that person/s are armed. I have the greatest respect for LEOs but in a situation like that they say no gun I say your on your own. That's not
disrespect it's common sense.
