Fun story: A fraternity brother of mine was in the army, stationed in SK for a bit. They got their hands on some Nork propaganda videos -- apparently, these things are hilarious. Things like Kim Jong Il (he was still alive then) throwing knives through cinder block walls and stuff like that. I'm fairly certain most people in NK pretend to believe the hype so they don't get disappeared, because most of it is so ridiculous that no sane person could buy it, even if they'd been indoctrinated by it their entire lives.
