I'm not understanding your apparent objection. Let me ask you some questions,

1. Are you in favor of allowing immigrants into the US to stay who come here unannounced and without prior authorization?
2. Are you in favor of offering those immigrants access to basic needs?
3. Do you support US laws against unauthorized immigrants working in the US?

For myself, I love and respect immigrants and at the same time wish to respect and obey American laws. I am in favor of providing for the needs of all people who are on US soil for whatever reason. I am not in favor of giving unauthorized immigrants being put on government welfare due to the ban on immigrant labor. I find I must either violate American or my own conscience. I will violate American laws where I have no choice due to Christian convictions to be reasonable and compassionate.
