Are "blue collar" voters leaving Trump? Watch the Penn. 18th Congressional race.

First off many Republicans are prochoice including Trump. It's a ****ing myth and scare tactic the left uses to scare stupid people into thinking they will outlaw abortion if they get their way.

Secondly Trump who I adamant ally disagree with on this issue is also favorable to installing some version of universal healthcare for those who can't afford regular healthcare.

3rdly Trump is a prounion president too

Lamb has also come out on TV in support of Trump's tax cuts and tariffs. He has distanced himself from DNC leadership.

I have no idea what Trump's position is on paying people's college debt off for them which seems to be the only thing you got left. Maybe it's you should ****ing educate yourself because from what I'm seeing Lamb is coming across as a conservative with a D at the end of his name. He has expressed a willingness to work with Trump on issues. So before you go peeing all over yourself in celebratory glee that this is some great omen that the mood of the country has shifted away from Trump and toward the ubber lefts ideology, it has not.

Many Republicans didn't even bother to show up for this election and who could blame them. Regardless of which candidate wins is really meaningless considering the courts have already overstepped their authority and abolished the district. 6 months from now this will be settled and between now and them they may be so busy doing recounts and what not the election may not be certified. Enjoy your hollow victory.

Trump isn't just pro-choice. He's pro-partial birth abortion. I'm sure the Evangelicals who now support him forgot that.

No, Lamb did NOT come out in support of the "Trump" tax cuts.

Lamb did not love the tax cuts. He campaigned against the tax law that Republicans pushed through Congress without a single Democratic vote.

The 33-year-old Congressman-elect called the tax cuts a "giveaway" to the richest 1 percent and corporations and criticized it as a "betrayal" to middle-class households, according to the Associated Press.

Speaking to supporters at a campaign rally, Lamb said Republicans had to "give tax relief to their donors, to the 1 percent and big corporations," the AP reported in February.

Trump Said Conor Lamb Won After Running on Tax Cuts?the Opposite of the Truth

If you don't know Lamb's other positions you should probably look at his website. They are clearly laid out.

I don't pee on myself. You're confusing me with yourself and your fellow Trump devotees.

Believe what you want but he was potrayed as a conservative with a D at the end of his name

Who is Conor Lamb? Video - ABC News

And you can believe what you want about the modern GOP, but the rest of us don't have to share in your delusions. What you're describing as "conservative" is what's in the Democratic party now, and is welcome by many in the party. The party you're remaining loyal to is off the hinges if you support a guy like Lamb. His type of Republican were drummed completely out of the House during the Obama years as RINO liberals, and are as rare as actual black Rhinos in the Senate.

FWIW, the video shows us nothing except he supported the tariffs (and that he's pro-choice). If you knew anything about the left side of the aisle, you'd know such support is common, especially on the Bernie Sanders wing, the democratic socialist, who also supported the tariffs, and has a very pro-gun voting record. That doesn't make the democratic socialist Sanders a Trump Republican.

The GOP is firmly anti-abortion. If you don't believe the GOP is a threat to abortion rights (and that's contradicted by a slew of restrictive laws that march right up to and over effective bans for many residents), then you must conclude the GOP are liars, and are running a decades long con to attract evangelical votes.

I'd love to see you name just FIVE current Republicans in the House or Senate who have a pro-choice stance like Lamb. There are more than 300 Republicans combined in Congress. If Lamb's position is arguably "republican" this should be an easy burden....

Secondly Trump who I adamant ally disagree with on this issue is also favorable to installing some version of universal healthcare for those who can't afford regular healthcare.

That's crap. He said that on the campaign trail, then worked directly to undermine that goal in every possible way when it came to actual policy.

Right, he's so pro-union that his solicitor general argued to the Supreme Court FOR dismantling unions by allowing individuals covered by unions to opt out of paying dues. And he heads a party that is unambiguously, nationwide, local, state and federal, hostile to unions and when in power passes laws that have the intended effect of dismantling them.

Somebody has to represent minorities, because we know the GOP with their race baiting president won't.

Why does representing minorities end up meaning little else than blame whitey for all their problems?

It’s not quite like that. Whites today are, in general, in a position of relative socioeconomic privilege and power in our society. Minorities are in a position of relative vulnerability and weakness. Justice means that you watch out for those in positions of weakness and vulnerability. That’s translating into watching out for the minorities more than whites. Yes I know there are whites in very tight spots, like many of those who have voted for Trump to help them , and many minorities who are doing very well. But we are just talking generalities, as I am sure you are too.

yes, I can just sense the blue collar voters flocking to Nancy "a thousand dollars is crumbs" Pelosi.

keep dreaming.

Your generalities would be incorrect. White mortality rates have been increasing over the past 20 years, while those for blacks and Hispanics have been falling.

Further, why do you assume that disparate outcomes proves "privilege"? Your hidden assumption is that there is equal ability, drive, time preference, and the like among different groups. I don't see any reason to hold that assumption (and plenty of evidence against that).
