The price of used guns would plummet as those without circumstance to stand their ground would sell to those intent upon such. The effect would be concentrating arms in the hands of those resolved to stand. I've signed up to protect it before and I ain't changed my mind. I'd say "come get me".

Yes, a good guy with a gun. What so many don't get is that the police are many times, nowhere to be found at the time of commission of a crime.
Many times, the true First Responders, are legal gun owners.

Don't be a broken record. But the question is ban from who? Law abiding citizens? Those are the last people you want to ban from owning firearms. Ban firearms from gangs and other non law abiding people? Good luck on that last one.

I remember reading once where calamity claimed to have a firearm in each room or something of the sort. What I'm thinking of was maybe1-2 years back.
