Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Faux Socialist

A "faux" socialist? Where did that rumor originate, "Faux News"? I just can't wait until she's president in 2020 so we can purge both morality and ugliness from our sacred Oval Office.

Better study up on age requirements unless you meant type 2028, that's the first election she could run in, if the nation went brain dead all at once.

Anyone quoting or supporting Infowars content isn't worth debating with. They are simply too far down the rabbit hole to bother.

Did Palin's expensive wardrobe while campaigning with McCain bother you? Is it just Democrats that bother you? You'd better be nice to us we're going to be running things in a few months.

Should read your own article, her clothes were ordered by the McCain party because they did not like her "everyday" style. From your article:

the Republican National Committee spent $75,062 at Neiman Marcus and $49,425 at Saks Fifth Avenue in September for Ms. Palin and her family.

They emphasized, too, that Ms. Palin did not spend time on the shopping, and that other people made the decision to buy such an array of clothes.

I remember that she did not like having to wear such things and left on her own would never have bought them.

And you'd better study up on your math. O.C. can run in 2024 because you have to be 35 to be president, not to run for president. She'll be 29 in October. So 6 years from October 2018 is 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24. She'll be over 35 when inaugurated in 2025.

She did wear the expensive clothing. The criticism of the OP is that doing so disrespects the "working men and women" who are supposed to he her constituents. No one made Palin wear those clothes. Doing so was her choice. I guess hypocrisy only deserves attention if it's a Democrat accused of it. <sigh>.

I'm think she could pair up with Hoggy in 2020.

Seems to me you said "I just can't wait until she's president in 2020 so we can purge both morality and ugliness from our sacred Oval Office", moving the goal posts are we? (see you own post #71)

Inaugurated in 2025? Inauguration Day occurs in the USA once every four years on January 20. It occurs in the year after presidential elections have been held, my math must be wrong, I thought we had Presidential Elections every 4 years - as in the next is 2020, 2024 and 2028. That means 2027 for the elections. Can't see how the year 2025 is working in this. Maybe it new math again.

If the person, regardless of political position, makes a point of campaigning on 'helping the poor, downtrodden worker' and dresses in clothing that costs more than what that working person nets in a month, or someone who claims all sorts of damage to the environment, but has a huge, flue consuming vehicle or home.

They have seriously damaged their creditability. So this young lady who supposedly is all about the poor working man, doesn't feel she needs to dress at the same level, but you don't see a conflict there?

Do not Republicans via there political philosophy believe that their system will ultimately benefit the poor more than Democrats will.?

nowhere does it say you have to be poor in order to help the poor.

If she is affluent it would be hypocritical of her to hide her affluence just because she's trying to help the poor.

In other words your premise is very weak and your logic wanes.

What year was trump inaugurated?

You think she should dress like a construction worker? For credibility?

Your bias is keeping you uninformed, but, you know what they say about ignorance.......... be happy.

Infowars doesn't "inform" anyone of anything. In fact, you are more likely to stay ignorant by reading stuff on Infowars than you are otherwise.

Still avoiding what you originally posted about years? ""I just can't wait until she's president in 2020"

I'm not avoiding anything. What I'm describing is actual history and law. You know, history and law.. the things conservatives revel in rewriting.

You are incorrect. President trump was inaugurated January 20, 2017, my friend. November 8th, 2016 was the date of the presidential general election.

O.C. will be 35 in October of 2024 and can be inaugurated January 20, 2025.

Thanks for playing.

First, you are correct that Nov 8 is the elections, I answered in a rush early this morning, my bad.

Second, you are correct again on when she can run for office, I was assuming her age to be younger from an earlier article I read. So, yes, if American loses their collective mind and decides we should have a socialist form of government, she could be elected as President in 2024. Unfortunately, I can see that possibility with the Millennials wanting to be first to elect a female president, regardless of circumstances.

Don't know about playing, I did not know this was a game to you.

Well, people wanted to elect a totally unqualified, insane TV reality star badly enough it happened. Electing someone just because they're a woman especially a sane, caring woman could only be an improvement over what we currently have ranting, sulking and muttering to himself around the white house now.

I'm sorry if I let on that I have fun as a DP member once in awhile. I'll look into taking life too seriously, but I won't make any promises I'll change.

Palin was a waste of space, IMO. One thing you all keep missing is Ocasio is campaigning based on helping the working class. Wee bit of a slap in the face to wear such togs while claiming 'equality'.

Ah, a Pelosi supporter. Perhaps you should look up the word 'tact'. While most politicians of either political lean have little of it, I recall Melania Trump being crucified for wearing expensive shoes to Puerto Rico after the hurricane....... the hypocrisy is astounding. And yes, I made fun of Melania for that one too.

Oh, I'm not missing it. People can still be sharp dressers and care about the working class. The difference is with the GOP they don't even try.

I'm not sure where the Republicans came into this, since we were discussing Ocasio's attire.

So, you have no problem with Ocasio claiming to care about the poor, but her ONE OUTFIT could feed a family of four (if they are thrifty) for a month? Do you not see the hippocrasy in that?

The Republicans came into this because we were discussing Palin's expensive outfits during the 2008 presidential campaign which didn't seem to bother you. I understand conservatives need to vilify democrats. In this particular case, I'm just not buying it. If O.C.'s constituents have a problem with the way she dresses they'll let her know.
