I hope cooler heads prevail. A strike against NK would be a human disaster for Seoul and the entire country and the potential for loss of American lives?

Why Not? We've bombed Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Ad only God knows who else. Perfectly sane to desire to kill millions of people? No, psychopathic. We did drop as many tons of bombs on North Korea as we used in all of WWII. Maybe we just had too many bombs and had to use them up? Maybe psyschopaths have been running the institution longer than we thought. Oh, by the way, the killing doesn't seem to be working for the USA taxpayer/citizen/voter. It does seem to fatten the wallets of the 1/10th of 1% in charge though. Why should Korea get a pass? Why should Korea get bombed?

Im sure that South Korean, Chinese, American, and North Korean persons are trying to assainate Kim with the blessings of all of the above. It's just a matter of time. China has been way too quiet lately. They are sitting back ready to pounce to see that the south doesn't try to unify, and the USA doesn't try to invade, and Russians dont try to shoplift some island, and the Norks become a peaceful country under the communist boot.

Oh, so since we fought a brutal dicatator who had his agents conduct terrorist attacks in the West, a brutal dictator who launched chemical weapon strikes and airstrikes against his own people, a brutal dictator who gassed his own people and routinely launched invasions of his neighbors, a brutal theocracy which treated it's populace horrifically and housed a mass murdering megalomaniac, an rather nasty rebel group in an impoverished state, a brutal warlord who starved his own people into submission and a brutal dicatator who committed genocide against people in the southern and western chunks of his regime......that means the Norks should get a pass? Why?

Guess what pal? The Norks started that war. We were simply defending the South.
 
Bombing NorKo is like a teenager beating up a 4-year old.

1) Logistically, there's nothing of value there. It'd be like bombing the Sahara desert.
2) Lil' Kim is still at war with the ocean, and the ocean is still winning. No proof anything in his arsenal can even hit Japan.
3) Don't need to be giving the attention whores the attention they crave.

A better solution would be to bring back assassination and black ops. Take out Lil' Kim quietly, and maybe sabotage their nuclear program from within. No need for civilian losses. They're too hungry to care.

Any strike on the Norks would mean the South Koreans would get the full brunt of the Norks massive artillery set up behind the DMZ, so something would have to be done about that prior to a attack on their tin pot dictator. That said, the US has the most technologically advanced cluster munitions on the planet....this thing




Alos, remember when Israeli fighters flew into Syria unchallenged and took out multiple targets even though Syria was using advanced Russian air defence systems ?
