A question for those who support the outlawing of tactical rifles, such as the AR-15

He seemed to know what he was doing. He had some nice guns....though I would not have screwed them up with those idiot bump stocks. Almost sacrilegious to attach those idiot devices to those specific weapons. But I suppose he had a specific purpose for the bump stocks and used them for that purpose. But that was some cherry weaponry save the goofy bump stocks. So I would not be too quick to question his choice of weapons nor method for the specific assignment he gave himself. Seemed to accomplish quite a bit in a limited amount of time...got in some gambling, went about his business and ended it.

We still really do not know the shooters exact intentions. But I would guess that he was as much interested in terrorizing that crowd and exhibiting the power he had over them as much as he was interested in the eventual death toll and number of injured. Plane would not have done that. Maybe some different weaponry but again, would not question either his choice of weapons nor method especially without more specifics to his intent.
