I don't have any idea. Torture will get false confessions, for certain. That's why such evidence is not admissable. He hasn't been found guilty by a US Court. Innocent until proven guilty by a preponderance of the evidence and the evidence is not admissable. What you want to be true and reality are not the same.

Trump did promise to get to the bottom of 9/11 pre election. His first trip abroad he is dancing with the Saudi Royal Family. Some us our bigger suckers than others. The KSA has never had to own for their part in funding terrorist orgs. Follow the money trail and it goes direct to the KSA Royal Family. Perhaps Trumps luv of autocrats explains his Saudia Arabian sword dance.

He was waterboarded 183 times. 183 violations of the torture agreements known as the Geneva Conventions. Each time they waterbaorded him he confessed to something new. He may have confessed to assasinations of Kennedy and MLK. Damn shame Gina the CIA nominee destroyed the tapes in violation of orders.

I read somewhere that they slammed him against the walls, although the story is that they had him in some protective neck brace. He is suing because he has some sort of spots on his MRI.

Torture is a very subjective term. We waterboard our own Navy Seals as part of their training process. If it's not too harsh to use our own Navy Seals, it's not too harsh to use on bloody murderous terrorists. And using it on KSM not only saved somewhere between 3000 and 20,000 American lives, it also led to the intelligence that eventually located Osama Bin Laden.

Former Chief of CIA Brennan was her boss during the time in question and had to know about the waterboarding and had to appove of it or it would not have occurred. Yet his nomination sailed right through. Why should it be an issue for Haspel? Oh wait......She was nominated by Trump, huh?

And God Bless Trump for saying that. Under the 9/11/01 circumstances, I would do the same. My priority would be stopping any further mass terrorist attacks. Within reason, I would do whatever it takes to get the information on active terrorist plots.

Not to distract from the topic, but how do we really know how far we would go if we found ourselves in a dire situation? Theorizing about it from the comfort of our homes is easy. Lets hope and pray we will never have to find out.

just as OBL was never tried by a court of law, nor even charged with the crime of 9-11, yet the greatest majority of (so called) Americans believe OBL was the one that plotted 9-11

Good point and it is not a distraction from the topic. If one of my own loved ones was in imminent danger of death and and I had custody of a terrorist who put them in that position and needed information to save the life of that loved one. I would do whatever is necessary to get that information. And all of these anti-waterboarding libruls would do the same.

As to what role KSM actually played in the events of the day. He was not the mastermind, and any person that believes he was has bought into a magnificent deception, hook, line and sinker.

He never does. He makes statements that are clearly wrong, as he did in this case, and just gets pissed and starts insulting when it's pointed out, and gets more pissed when the evidence against him is piled on. He's one of the angrier types on DP.
