3 shot, 5 injured at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park on MLK Day

Now now. If you're going to put up such a race(ist)-baiting OP, you should summon the courage to articulate yourself more fully.

Plead do explain exactly why it is that you find this to be a "shocker, not."

Just curious why you think the OP is race baiting...??

The "innocent question"......??

I'll bold it:

Police and fire rescue crews are on the scene after three people were shot and five others were injured at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park.

Shocker.

Not.

The answer is because the bolded followed the rest of the post.

But, I suspect you know perfectly well what they're saying and perfectly well what I'm saying.

Shocker.

Not.

The answer is because the bolded followed the rest of the post. I provided many opportunities to prove my suspicion wrong to the people who "liked" or openly agreed with the OP to demonstrate why I was wrong. But not one of them managed. I suspect you know perfectly well what they're saying and perfectly well what I'm saying.

Tell you what. You tell me in your own words why the bolded is or is not a "shocker", and I'll tell you why or why not I think it's race-baiting.

Clue: it may have something to do with who MLK is and what he stood for. It probably has to do with which person or persons are the biggest fans of MLK and why. It probably also has to do with the fact to do with who tends to support such praise of MLK in the biggest numbers, and who has a history of benefiting from or participating in his great works. It also further probably has to do with the failure of those who "liked" or posted in agreement with the post(s) in question. It may even have to do with more things I'm going to bold:

I think what he is saying is that shootings happen with all too often regularity at black community events/gatherings

Shootings, fights etc has happened on many different times at Black Awards event...FACT and the truth

Shootings, fights etc has rarely if ever happened at an CMA...FACT and the truth

So what part of this is anyone missing? What is being asserted when these people note (claimed facts) that "shootings" and "fights" happen where a lot of black people are? Does ANYONE have the personal courage to say what they actually mean?

I won't hold my breath.

Why is it ugly?

Facts and truth are ugly to you?

So what? White people murder each other all the time. Ever hear of Cosa Nostra, just to use one rather infamous example?

I think you are just absolutely precious in your role as social justice warrior. I also think people like you are the number one reason that shootings like this (as well as the 34 shootings in Chicago over the MLK weekend, 8 shot in DC during a 'unity' gathering in Sept, the 6 shot in Louisville in November, etc.) occur.

I cannot read invisible language. Please explain to me why this is not a shocker.

Come on. Conservatives are big, brave, individualists. Trump killed PC for them. Surely at least ONE of you is going to summon the gumption to explain in detail, in his words, why it isn't supposed to be a shocker that a tragedy happened at an MLK celebration.

Is it the moon cycle?

Is it the alignment of Proxima Centauri with a galaxy 13 billions of years away?

Do a number of trucks always backfire, causing people to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights in incorrect ways?

What exactly is it about celebration of a certain holiday pertaining to a certain man who participated in certain important civil rights events that you think obviously results in violence?

Well?
Because lately, large gatherings of black people, for whatever cause, tend to end up becoming violent.

Not always...to be sure...but its not an uncommon occurrence...hence the 'shocked...not shocked' position.

Wow, the "that's racist!" brigade is getting fast. You cried wolf by post # 2?!?

Whats TRULY comical is watching people like him standing in the midst of dead bodies and pools of blood ignoring the carnage around him but pointing to observers shrieking about racism.

Typical leftist. They 'care' about causes and give not the first **** about the actual dead people.

Maybe it isn't a shocker because this kind of **** seems to happen every other day in the US ?

Shocker.

Not.

I have to agree.

Because it's racist to point out that often places named after non-violent MLK tend to be one of the most violent in the city?

There seems to be nothing shocking for Trump supporters about black Americans being killed.

I'd guess that the Nazis were "not shocked" when Jewish Germans were killed.

Correct on both counts. It's not only expected, it's common place. Any shock factor has long since dissipated!

And don't limit it to Trump supporters, it runs the gamut of humanity.

I was shocked and dismayed that anyone could bring violence to an event intended to celebrate MLKJr in this day and age.

I guess since all the violence involving blacks was somehow President Obama's fault, this kind of stuff will be President Trump's fault, right?

Were they killed by other Jews?

No?

Then I guess your post is as rediculous as it is irrelevant.

What? Are you confused? Do you not understand what an analogy is?

Hint: claiming that the things are different doesn't disprove the analogy. It just acknowledges that it's an analogy, with two different things rather than with the same thing repeated twice.

Who exactly are you calling a Trump supporter?

So, the OP focuses on black on black violence at an MLK rally as an "in" to discussing the 1,400,000 violent crimes and 14,000ish homicides that Americans commit on Americans every year?

Why couldn't any of the people i was addressing say that, if that was true?

Are you, too, unable to respond on point? Just attack the messenger?

(Not that you have any standing to speak for the other people whom I addressed).

I find it quite interesting that so many conservatives agree with the OP and personally attack anyone who does not fully agree, but inexplicably cannot answer the simplest of questions.

In order for your analogy to be relevant and apply, German Jews would need to have been killed by other like people, German Jews. It was black people of similar to same culture and economic class that wrecked havoc amongst themselves. Not some other ethnic, racial, economic, or religious group. Accept that.

Your argument is that black people are ONLY killed by black people...?

What a strange and erroneous argument.

Well, this particular incident was at an MLK rally, on MLK day. Particulary sinister & note-worthy compared to the many gang / criminal homicides that occur daily.
