Tuuikka Rask decided he was not into the whole playoffs thing and went home.

TB/Columbus are just having some great games.
 
Dale Hawerchuck passed away today. Very sad. He was only 57.
 
On to the next round. A shame Johnston didn't get to take on Wilson who deserved a beat down.

Flyers vs Islanders.

Love to see Flyers win, wouldn't be surprised to see Flyers swept out.

Powerplay is beyond horrendous. Giroux sucks so bad in playoffs it's not funny.
Other top veterans are hardly showing up for games.

Carter Hart can't win it all for them.

Again, I'd not be shocked to see Flyers swept. Maybe they win 1 game. Maybe.

If they play the Islanders exactly like they played Montreal....SWEEP....

You really think so? I watched some of the Montreal series, Philly looked pretty good. Tough to score on Price. Isles certainly can't.
 
Andy Greene looks a bit older than 37. Fantastic game! First playoff goal in 10 years. I thought for sure Philly was coming back after Hart robbed Nelson and they were only up by 1 after 1.
 
Arizona was stripped of this years 2nd round pick, and next years first round pick for violating league testing policy. That is harsh!

You did not need to do anything. No one lectured you. Why do you need to play the victim?
 
Flyers got lucky and stole a victory. So no sweep.
Although they did their damned best to give that Game 2 away to the Isles.

Game 3 tonight. I'm cringing with the thought of what I might witness.

Desperately searching for a beacon of hope outside of Carter Hart (or even Brian Elliott if that's the case tonight).

Every single Flyers fan is still completely aghast with Giroux's continued playoff performance.
The Flyers Powerplay is so pathetic I wish the NHL would give teams the option to decline penalties.

For some odd reason they still try too many passes while declining to actually shoot the puck.
They just seem to hate having somebody posted up in front of the goalie. Where's Wayne Simmonds when you need him?
For some reason they want to send the puck through the middle of the ice and 10 players.

JVR???? Send that idiot to the AHL.

At this point there's not one single Flyer who should strike fear into any opponent when they have the puck.

The biggest fear the Islanders should have is the puck deflecting off one of the other Islanders.

Islanders win this series in 5, or at worst 6 games.

The NHL has morphed into the KHL. Kaepernick Hockey League.

And in doing so... have ****ed themselves.

Philly played hard and fast for the first 11 minutes or so, deserved a goal. Then the Isles took over with a ton of chances and they deserved a goal. The uncle Leo goal with 5 seconds left in the second was a back breaker. The high flip out of the defensive end has given the Isles some trouble but they are starting to bat it down as opposed to try and play it and get caught by the on rushing Flyers. Philly can play like they showed early but you have to keep it up for 60 minutes. Hart has played well, can still go either way but the Isles have had the better of the play. Should be another nail biter tonight. The hockey Gods are on your side when Matt Martin and Uncle Leo score.

I wanted to care yesterday that they were playing. My favored team was playing. But I couldn't get myself to care. Especially when I turned the channel to watch the start of the VGK/VAN game, and they immediately start with a lecture video. Changed the channel, never went back. I don't even know who won. I don't really care.

Islanders Vs Tampa Bay for conference finals.

Pretty much a no-brainer right now.

Flyers youngsters are showing some positives for a decent future.
Flyers veterans are obviously ready for retirement, and the golf course.

Just happy there's no Penguins, and hopefully no Bruins. No Caps is also a benefit this year.

The Flyers Islanders series is the Islanders to win or lose. All the Islanders have to do is want it.

It's obvious the majority of the Flyers just don't care enough to truly want it.
