NBA 2017-18 Season

Can't wait to see Lonzo Ball and Isaiah thomas tear it up for the Lakers in the second half. Push for the 8th spot. Good luck boys!

If Luke is honestly debating on starting both of them, I see Lakers giving up 100 plus points every game moving forward

OKC vs Golden State tonight. I'll probably watch it.

233/-10; hahaha; I quit the stuff; probably listen some on the way home after finals tonight

The four new Cavs combined for 57 points, 17 boards, 7 assists, 6 steals, and 6 blocks last night. Of course, LeBron didn't quite match that, but he sure did put up some seriously strong numbers: 18, 14, 11 and 1, with no blocked shots.

Some radio dude said the four new guys will not help the Cavs much. I'm not so sure. The team is suddenly playing great D, and the new guys are all playing key roles in that effort. Also, the Cavs have gone from an Iso, dribble to death team, to one which passes as effectively as Pop's Spurs.

Which reminds me---Spurs vs Cavs tomorrow at 3:30. :)

I don't bet, but the way GS has been playing, I'd take the 10 points and put $100 on the Thunder.

233 sounds about right though. But, I like the under.

I'm really happy I've gotten away from it. This is wrestling tournament season. And I like the NBA. I get to guest teach my two subjects regularly. MLB is right around the corner. I miss the West.

I wouldn't change my life for anything except when I didn't comport myself well personality-wise, ruining the message. Same as on here. Being with the kids was my dream starting in HS. My wife retires next year. It's hard to fathom sometimes I'm in my 9th year out.

The people in our wrestling community specifically and education community in general are fabulous. I was blessed; I am grateful; and I will teach until the day I pass away. (Mr. Emotional)

OKC is getting blown out by an energized Warriors team. No need to keep watching this one.

I heard a really good idea. To determine who gets the #1 draft pick you have a playoff for all the non-playoff teams and the winner of the tournament gets the #1 pick.

As of now here is a prediction. All are 1 games series:

Round 1:

La Clippers - bye
Utah Jazz - bye
Detroit Pistons vs Phoenix Suns
Charlotte Hornets vs Dallas Mavericks
Los Angeles Lakers vs Atlanta Hawks
New York Knicks vs Orlando Magic
Chicago Bulls vs Sacremento Kings
Memphis Grizzlies vs Brooklyn Nets

Round 2:
La Clippers vs Orlando Magic
Utah Jazz vs Brooklyn Nets
Detroit Pistons vs Chicago Bulls
Charlotte Hornets vs Lakers

Round 3:
La Clippers vs La Lakers
Utah Jazz vs Detroit Pistons

Finals:
Clippers vs Detroit Pistons for the #1 pick.

I like this format because, in a 1-game series, it creates a level of unpredictability allowing for more upsets. If a quality team wins the lottery tournament, it makes it less likely they will be drafting in the lottery again.

Also, it prevents tanking.

Great idea.

lol...no one wants to see a bad basketball team playoff.

I like the European soccer rules. If you are the worst team, you go down to the D-League. And, the best D-League team comes up to the mother ship.

Golden State clicking on all 8 cylinders, like they did in the second half last night, is going to be nearly impossible to beat.

The best team nobody talks about.

Pacers hold on to top Wizards (1:24)

Same number of wins as the Cavs. Certainly a team that will move forward in the near future.

IMO, Toronto is the best team in the East, hands down. The only question remaining is whether or not they choke in the playoffs. They have in the past.

Nobody, I mean nobody wants to see the Raptors in the finals. Such a boring team, and who wants to travel to Canada?

Houston vs Toronto would be bad for the NBA.

Cavs came from 15 down at the half to beat them tonight, playing without Korver, Thompson, Hood or Nance. ****ing great game.

LBJ was awesome for an old man. They would have lost by 40 points if not for his incredible effort. Love did great too. And, Geo Hill finally showed up.
