It's just interesting information. I can give you a research by John haidt about it. I don't think my comment makes things "political", it's just an interesting fact about how some people on a certain political spectrum cannot fathom how the other thinks.... and I was describing the difference to maybe lend some insight.

You just mentioned you can't fathom how people like him think, and there is actual research that goes into detail on why you cannot fathom it.... that is all I was saying... :doh

I did not say I can't fathom how people like him think. I said it was mind's like his are an enigma to me; it's difficult to understand how one can be that crazy about religion. Not that I can't fathom it at all. A better term I should have used would be difficult to fathom. This goes for any religious nutjob for me, really. Because understanding how and why crazy people think the way they do is a difficult subject. And it has nothing to do with being liberal.
