Besides American English, I love to listen to British English, Italian and French. I do speak some German myself but it isn't my favorite language.

German is listed under "other languages"
Deutsch ist bei "other languages" inbegriffen

:2wave:

Deutschland uber alles!

Personally I like nearly all of the languages in the list.
Most of all: Scottisch English!

To a Mouse

Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim'rous beastie,
O, what a pannic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty,
Wi' bickering brattle!
I wad be laith to rin an' chase thee,
Wi' murd'ring pattle!

Robert Burns

Especially when you say yes. You better, you better, you bet.

"I speak in Latin when I address God. I speak in French when I converse with women. And I speak in German when I speak to my horse." (a variant of Charles V reputed quote).

Deutschland uber alles!

What you mean is probably:

Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
für das deutsche Vaterland!
Danach lasst uns alle streben,
brüderlich mit Herz und Hand!
Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
sind des Glückes Unterpfand:
Blüh im Glanze dieses Glückes,
blühe, deutsches Vaterland!

I like German because I am semi-fluent and love to hear what people nearby are saying.........I learned French in elementary school and had a decent accent; if you aren’t able to use a language you tend to lose the ability.......

I am alway fascinated with Europe, in the fact that there is a very small area and the languages are so different as you move from country to country.

Italian is the voice of music.
English English is the voice of reason.
Scottish English is the voice of delight.

Scotland The Brave

Hark when the night is falling
Hear! hear the pipes are calling,
Loudly and proudly calling,
Down through the glen.

There where the hills are sleeping,
Now feel the blood a-leaping,
High as the spirits
of the old Highland men.

Towering in gallant fame,
Scotland my mountain hame,
High may your proud standards, Gloriously wave,

Land of my high endeavour,
Land of the shining rivers,
Land of my heart for ever,
Scotland the brave.

I like them all. I love languages and accents.

6 out of 8 voters have chosen Englisch Englisch so far. :)

I find (standard) SPANISH and MANDARIN CHINESE very pleasing on my ears.
