Good point. Only 1,071 instances of voter fraud out of easily 200,000,000 absentee ballots in the last 10 national elections. Maybe you have higher figures than 200M. That’s only a mere, totally insignificant flyspeck of a 0.0000054% absentee ballot voter fraud. Of course, not all of your “instances” only involved absentee ballots. The more good news is that of those 1,071 instances, there were 938 convictions, which tells me the violators were prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Thanks for the stats.

The Superbowl, March Madness, World Series, pale in comparison. But I would give it up, in the interest of better democracy.

Edit: Actually though, maybe we wouldn't give up 'election night'. They couldn't release the results until the voting periods end.

If you can't trust the electoral process at all, then just get rid of it. If you truly think Democrats are sitting there dumping and altering ballots then adding more methods to streamline voting isn't going to change that.

Only Oregon and Washington use it universally. That's not 50 states is it? That mail in votes are much more susceptible to fraud, tampering and coercion hardly needs explaining. Everyone can figure that out. We are being asked to believe that the same people who sent Covid infected seniors back into nursing homes to infect countless others, suddenly have some noble concern for the health of more vigorous voters who will be wearing masks. Plus, polling places can certainly be configured to keep voters 6 ft. apart. Not to mention that, by November, the virus danger may be very minimal.

How can one have proof when a mail in national election has never been attempted? The point is that mail in voting is NOT secure. It's insecurity is why the Dems want it.

n the days after the election, some Republicans speculated that there had been “voter fraud” in the state. And, true, Los Angeles County prosecutors busted a ring that bribed the homeless to register fraudulently. The Department of Motor Vehicles also registered 1,500 ineligible voters.

Yet “ballot harvesting” likely had a bigger effect.

Democrat Secretary of State Alex Padilla mocked Republican concerns, telling Politico: “What they call strange and bizarre, we call democracy.”

2nd link is a paywall. First link flat out says this:

"it is unknown how many of the 700 ballots actually were fraudulent"​

And they don't even explain what was "suspicious" about them in the first place. There may be some fraud. Just like there is at the polls.

Many states allow only family members living within the household to collect ballots for another, but in California, they changed their law in 2016, allowing anyone, even political operatives to harvest ballots....so, it is a relatively new way to cheat, in which the democrats used immensely gaining many House seats.

Crimeny. We don't install traffic signals where stop-signs are safe. If and when traffic dictates, then you can install a signal. Repeating these insignificant stories does nothing. It disproves your argument. Jeezzus.

"Ballot Harvesting" needs to be outlawed....then mail in voting will be more secure with greater integrity....don't you agree?

I understand the truth hurts at times..."ballot harvesting" is an open door to cheating in elections, especially when they permit "anyone" to collect ballots, even political operatives.....this is plain ole unamerican.

Was my analogy too nuanced, because it was the truth.

None of this hurts me. I trust individual states to decide for themselves how to vote. I'm sure someone has thought about some electronic validation system to ensure someone's vote is counted.

I'm not worried about it at all. You seem to be, and your concerns are conspiratorial, not grounded in reality.

Could you please support your argument with verifiable evidence we can check out? Not what theoretically could happen. Not what might happen. Not the perfect storm of fears. Real actual evidence that canoe verified of voter fraud by mail. Thank you.

I hardly need Trump to know that mail in voting is more subject to tampering than voting at a polling place. Anyone giving it 30 seconds of thought can figure it out.

Until you are educated on "ballot harvesting", your opinion is just that, an opinion. California or Nevada sure didn't think of it.....some people would rather be in the dark, I guess. "Conspiracy, voter suppression, racist"....the mantra of the left.

There have been numerous articles posted in this thread showing actual instances of voter fraud. Tell me why did California change its voter laws a couple of years ago, and allow "anyone" to pick up ballots....it used to only be family members, but now it is anyone, even political operatives....do you know that? What could possibly be the reason for this???
