George Zimmerman sues Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren over tweets honouring Trayvon Martin

Bootygig basically called Zimmerman a white supremacist. That might be considered slanderous.

Even more basically, he didn't refer to Zimmerman at all.

That Zimmerman wasn't convicted of anything doesn't mean Martin's death wasn't an avoidable tragedy Zimmerman played a part in.

Both of them had opportunities to deescalate or disengage, but neither did.

We've taken the wrong lessons from this event.

Bootygig referred to the person who killed Martin. There's only one person that could be.

Here's the two lines I'm aware of:

“Trayvon Martin would have been 25 today,”

“How many 25th birthdays have been stolen from us by white supremacy, gun violence, prejudice, and fear?#BlackLivesMatter.”

Which one refers to the person who killed Trayvon Martin? You are reading things into this that aren't there.

George Zimmerman is a hero to everyone who wishes they could legally murder the person kicking your ass in a fight you started.
It was self defense. Trayvon attacked him first.

Did he specifically name Zimmerman? Nope...and Zimmerman should know better than anyone that you can't convict on a presumption...if that were true he would be behind bars because most presumed him guilty as hell.

Considerring that they were talking about the trayvon martin shooting who else would they be talking about?

now i say it was a bad shoot always have but it was not based on racism or anything else.
it was simply a bad shoot and Zimmerman was doing something he shouldn't have been doing.

he should have gotten at least manslaughter.

I’d say so.

CNN did the same thing to The Covington Kids... Sandman took a chunk out of CNN... and is pursuing others for more hide.

Read the comments... Obama’s son died at the hands of Zimmerman... and these fools called him a white supremacist.

Game on... I hope he takes a chunk out of both Pocahontas and The Small Town Mayor.

Yeah ... that’s it.

CNN, no doubt, paid Nicky off with chump change. At least he got his college paid for....until he drops out.

Yes, Bootyjudge did seem to make that inference, but Zimmerman is just playing victim at this point. Hes looking to be offended

Perhaps... but they did slander him... and this is a great way to stop morons like Pocahontas and other Leftists from doing this crap.

It might work with CNN and others...of not... they will be paying in the future for their moronic transgressions.

Agreed we've taken the wrong lessons from the tragedy. I also agree that Obama escalated the racial divide by his part in it.

That night one f***ing moron attacked another f***ing moron but the second moron had a gun and successfully defended himself from attack.

slander and libel.

So, we have a video of Buttigieg reading his tweats aloud? That's the only way that makes sense. That, and they'd need to be different tweats from the ones presented here.

I hope you didn't pay retail for your law degree.

They never directly referred to Zimmerman. He has no cause to take offense, never mind any damage to claim.

I don’t understand how a child walking home from the store is considered a moron

How exactly did anyone slander Zimmerman?

I'll only add that I believe Obama meant it as a "teachable moment," on making presumptions based on race but clearly we weren't ready to hear it then, and many still aren't.

Yeah ... that’s it.

Though I do indeed facepalm at virtually everything you post, there is no need to include it on your posts just for me.
