Why I think trump will win in 2020!

It's clear Trump is a narcissistic, bigoted, low IQ, inarticulate, ignorant, conceited blowhard who has been the most incompetent President in history. The entire world is laughing at the US because we have such a ignorant electorate.

:boohoo::boohoo::boohoo:

Republican victories come mostly from people not speaking, that is, staying home. That is why they work to restrict voting.

The senate is undemocratic and wildly skewed toward Republican voters.

It is these kinds of claims that keep Dems losing. People don't like whining and sour grapes. If you can't come up with enough ideas that people like, you aren't going to win. If you don't come across as being able to lead, same thing.

They work to make sure that those who should not be voting don't vote.

First, it will have nothing to do with Trump. Although I believe most GOP politico's do not like Trump, but they are afraid of his base and have learned the golden rule over the past 20 years, stay together and vote together for the GOP candidate no matter who he is!! This is especially important since the party base is not the majority and is getting smaller each year. The real reason trump will win is the total stupidity of those who call them selves Dems. While the GOP party sticks together, the Dems look at themselves as progressives or Black or moderates or young or older and not as a consolidated Dem party member. We saw it clearly in the 2016, when a Dem does not get the candidate who he sees as "one with my ideas", he will either vote for the GOP candidate in protest or just not vote. That kind of person got Trump elected in 2016 and will do so again in 2020. The Dem progressives are hinting that if they do not get the candidate of their choice they will again stay home or vote for trump. The other Dem groups are doing the same. This seems especially true of the Black voters who are saying if you so not pick one of ours, you lose our vote as it will be a sign of taking us for granted. So the Dems can not choose a candidate or candidates that meet all the criteria of all of their groups and so will lose voters and the election. The Dems learned nothing from 2016 while the GOP did.

Agreed, if Trump wins it will be because Democrats did not learn very much nor did they run a candidate that appeals to enough Independents.

Put whatever weight on these polls you would like, but at least by trend we seem to be seeing the results of intentional division oriented politics play out to the point that someone like Trump was plausible in the first place and depending on who Dems run might be a two term President. Not by his base of course, but by how everyone else feels about the competition. Sure, Clinton won the popular vote but not she also did worse in key districts that would have had an Electoral College impact where Obama did better both times.

Dems run the wrong candidate... again... and Trump cakewalks into another term, even if he losses all control over Congress.

I listened for about 10 minutes. All mostly vague big government solutions and the same lofty sounding phrases empty of substance we have been hearing from politicians for decades. Not a winning strategy for me.

You need to listen further. Sanders pretty much lays it all out. You literally stopped right before it got good.

The left doesn't need to sabotage the economy. Republican policy does it every time.

And yet when the right talks about how great the economy is going you guys say it was already going in that direction. Please make up your mind. Is it or isn't it?

No, what I mean is that you posted something irrelevant to anything I stated.

It's what you do.

Try to follow along here, if you can. I posted why Trump will win and you said that I was entertaining fantasies to stop the pain. I said that it is you who will need the Kleenex in 2020. So, it was entirely relevant to what you posted, not that what you said had much substance. Anytime you have nothing, you claim somebody isn't responding to your post. It's rather amusing.

Bernie's been saying this crap for at least 40 years. What are his accomplishments? After 40 plus years the total score is ------------------------ zero.

They don't know..........RUSSIA!!!.....RUSSIA!!!.... SOMEBODY HELP US!!!!:lamo

Biden will be 78 on inauguration day. He'd be 86 after two terms. He's already slurring words and losing his train of thought. Is this the guy you really think can beat Trump? Bernie is even older than Biden and is out there telling us about the glories of socialism as we watch Venezuela implode. You think he can beat Trump? No, the Dems are just going to have to look to 2024 and, if they bleat about Russia for the next 6 years, they might lose then, too.

If losing one's train of thought matter, Trump wouldn't have been nominated.

Trump's greatest strength is appealing to people who are fed up with democratic government and willing to give government power over to a tyrant to get things done. Any Democratic candidate that can convince Americans that the government can have a positive impact on peoples' lives has a very good chance of beating Trump. After all, Trump, and the GOP have shown a hostility to peoples' rights, a hostility to peoples' healthcare and college tuition, a hostility to protecting the environment, indifference to growing wage gap and they have created a crisis around immigration.

Enough people might decide that we need more than spectacles and want the government to actually function.

Trump has another year to do and say more crazy stuff that either endangers our nation or just makes enough people tired of having a mad man in the White House.

The last time we had a two term Republican president, the country had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Trump's and the GOP's policies can pave the way for that happening again.

We shall see if Americans want to chance that again.

Bingo! Give that man a cigar.

It was pretty much the same way with Reagan.

Obama isn't running for office.

Could you try and work in Vince Foster or Hillary's emails next time to spice things up?

So, you're saying that poll numbers don't matter? Or, are you saying they matter for one guy but not the other?

Sanders has been laying it all out for 40 plus years. Total successes: 0.

Nothing you have posted is relevant. Refer to post #72. That's the best argument you've got - nothing.
