He's in the hospital right now, and if and when the time comes where he needs a heart transplant, he might not have the insurance coverage he needs, despite having it right now.

My wife, who is also still here thanks to lifesaving medical procedures from the VA, is also threatened with the possibility that she might be handed a tiny voucher, given a great big kick in the teeth and a great big "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE" and told to stop blocking the exits.
