More American voters now oppose Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court than support it, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Thursday.

The poll, which was conducted after Christine Blasey Ford accused the nominee of sexually assaulting her in the 1980s, found that 38 percent of registered voters oppose his nomination, compared with 34 percent who support it, just beyond the margin of error of +/- 3.3 percent.

The simple fact that the 2 classmates that were in that bedroom during the assault refuse to testify tells me that this guy is likely guilty & is lying about it for political & personal reasons.
Hasn't SHE say there were only Judge, Kavenaugh and her in the bedroom? She say her counselors notes were wrong. And the latest "witness", who later backed down, said she only "heard about it".

And thanks for the Progressive riff on the ol' "innocent until proven guilty and he's a Republican so he's guilty"

Link? I recall him saying that he doesn't want to testify, but I don't recall hearing anything about him saying he's not willing to say that under oath.

I'm assuming that that is the barrier to him testifying before congress. Maybe I'm wrong and he just has a problem talking in front of people. He is an functioning adult though, so I doubt that's the case.

Ah...assuming. Gotcha. So, where does Mark Judge live? Do you really expect him to travel how far to testify? Take off of work just to testify? Just to say "I don't recall any such thing happening"?

It is worth the price of admission just to see Senator's and Congressmen, men mainly simply expose themselves as barely past Neanderthal if that.
- "Ugg, I think she is mixed up".
- "Heard the latest from the Kavanaugh hearings? RBG claims she was groped by Lincoln."

I swear to God if there is a new way for Americans and particularly American men to just embarrass the Dung out of themselves we will find it.

'I don't recall' is standard D.C. evasive response.

For people that are giving testimony for something that occurred just a few years or even months ago, yeah, I agree that 'I don't recall' can be considered an evasive response, depending on the actual question.

However, I can't tell you much of anything that I did when I was 17. I'm 54. For me to say I don't recall would not be an evasive response. Nor do In think it would be so for most people over the age of 40-45 when asked about something they may have done when they were 17.
