Trump says, "No collusion." Trump supporters agree.

M...kay. No collusion. You win.

But, you're boy is dead to rights on conspiracy and obstruction.

Check mate.

Have you a point?

Last time I checked no charges filed.

When did you check, August? Last i checked, we have two convictions and three indictments...already.

Last I checked, we have 2 "convictions" for making a false statement to the FBI. That would be George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn. That is neither "conspiracy" nor "obstruction of justice."

Now Paul Manafort has been indicted on 12 counts: conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts. He has pled Not Guilty and is awaiting trial. An indictment is not a conviction. Paul Manafort, Rick Gates plead not guilty to Mueller probe indictment - Business Insider

Note: This charge of "Conspiracy against the United States" is not referring to collusion with Russia to win the election.

The statute, rather, is an extension of the ordinary crime of conspiracy. Basically, the charge accuses Manafort and Gates of conspiring to commit offenses against, and to defraud the US government. For them, those offenses involve false statements or misrepresentations of financial and lobbying activity. “The statute defines separate and additional offenses if two or more people enter into an illegal agreement with the intent to engage in criminal conduct, and commit an overt act in furtherance of that agreement,” Lisa Kern Griffin, a professor of law at Duke who specializes in criminal law and criminal procedure, says.

Essentially, it is related to the crimes they conspired to commit during the years they were laundering money from foreign involvements Pre-campaign...NOT for "conspiracy" to either obstruct justice or collude with Russia election tampering.

Why don't you try to wait and see what happens before making claims of success.

Of what? Old "crimes". A multi million dollar investigation, and all we have is a process crime on Flynn? Going broke and selling his house because he can't afford the legal bills, trying to protect his family, including his son from Mueller's threats. He finally gave in after Mueller's attacks and couldn't take it anymore. So he pleads guilty, not because he's guilty, but because he's broke. A crime that Comey passed on, because he thought it wasn't a crime.

That's supposed to be justice? He's a four star general that has served his country with great honor, and this is how he is treated?

That's what we get from Mueller? Where is the so called collusion? What the hell is this guy doing, with his staff of Clinton and Obama supporters? Millions of dollars and this is what we get? Mueller needs to be fired and investigated himself. Seems like he gave jobs, and tons of our money, to his buddies when he knew there was nothing there.

Still clinging to hope I see. You need to ask yourself WHY ALL THOSE LIES? if this is all about nothing.

I don't have to ask myself anything.

IMO Manafort lied because he knew he was breaking the law between 2006 and 2015 when he acted as an unregistered foreign agent and then laundered money to hide his profits for acting as such an agent.

As for Flynn and Papadopoulos? I'm sure we'll find out when they testify as promised in exchange for their plea agreements.

I prefer to wait and see. Why don't you, instead of assuming facts not in evidence? :coffeepap:

Sorry to break it to you but Manafort's indicted crimes extend past 2015 and into the period when he was Trumps campaign chairman.

TRUMP tweet: "Sorry, but this is years ago, before Paul Manafort was part of the Trump campaign."

THE FACTS: Not true, according to the indictment.

Manafort and his associate Rick Gates are charged with criminal activities that go back to 2006 but extend to February of this year. The charges do not refer to Manafort's activities with the campaign but rather accuse him of laundering money and conspiratorial acts before, during and after he had that job.

(Sigh) From your own citation:

The indictment alleges that Manafort and Gates acted as unregistered agents of Ukraine's former pro-Russia leader, government and party from 2006 to 2015. The indictment says that "from approximately 2006 through at least 2016, MANAFORT and GATES laundered the money through scores of United States and foreign corporations, partnerships and bank accounts."

1. The record shows he stopped working for the foreign interests in 2015 but continued "laundering" the money earned illegally through 2016.

2. None of this had anything to do with the Trump campaign, so your point is a distinction without a difference.

Most of Manafort's dirt was done while he was working for John Podesta (Clinton's 2016 campaign manager, Obama's Counselor to the president; Bill's chief of staff, White House deputy chief of staff for operations and White House chief secretary).

Manafort was doing dirt, while working for a guy who has been in cahoots with the Clintons for 25 years.

Really?

Trump has two convictions and three indictments?

Show me.

Do you even understand the word "conspiracy"? If you did, you wouldn't make such an idiotic statement.

Then why did Trump hire him?

It's conspiracy if anyone else on Trump's team knew they were lying, and it's obstruction if they directed them to lie. Duh.

Next up is Kushner, the guy with family ties to the Tower.

Kushner is the Israeli lobbyist, right? The guy who travelled to Saudi to get them to vote against the anti-Israeli censure in the UN?

I have been on the record as saying, Trump is sunk, he was going down when he opened his mouth to Lester Holt. It does not matter if there was collusion, Trump commited a crime by obstructing justice into a nothing burgur. The man has zero poltical savvy, and is extremly ignorant.

It's so much fun seeing liberals get their hopes up.

Not nearly as entertaining as watching Conservatives vote against their own ethical and economic interests. Trust me.
