We HAVE contacted you, unfortunately you idiots never believe us.....you call it "Conspiracy theory".
 
Why would they? Would you purposely reach out to communicate with an ape? For any intelligent being that has reached the level of advancement to travel to different galaxies would see us as no different than apes as the gap between humans and apes in intelligence would be closer than humans and any being capable of reaching here.

Yes, but we make contact with apes and study them. If these aliens didnt find us interesting in some way, they would have made a fl-by and moved on long ago.

I'm a UFO guy. Aliens, if you accept the reportage on it, actually do contact "us', but selectively. They
abduct humans (millions, actually) and subject them to tests, i.,e they are studying us just as we study lower species.

One thing is clear, they do not seem to care about our politics, or "landing on the white house lawn", that sort of thing.
 
Any civilization out there will not even know we are here for thousands of years and by then we or they wont exist anymore. Unless someone is living in a local solar system or have developed faster then light abilities we will never even know they exist.

We have only been sending weak signals into space since the 1930's so how did they get here so quick?
 
Just like we try and communicate with lower life forms on a limited basis, they do the same, where do you think all those missing persons go? Beam me up!

My thoughts exactly.

Any species and society that has achieved the technology to travel between the stars would take a look at the present stated of advancement on planet Earth, and promptly depart to other parts of the galaxy.

Time is a dimension. Not a straight line. A sufficiently advanced species in the future would get our broadcasts from now. And travel along that dimension til they reach us who sent the broadcast.

Because let's face, by the time our signals reach anywhere, we will be long dead. So they will have to be time traveling aliens.

Unless, of course, they saw an opportunity to exploit us in some way.
