I see these midterms as a sort of litmus test for the country.

Last election the left was over confident and got caught off guard. This election cycle they are putting everything they got into it and taking nothing for granted.

We are going to find out how awake the voters really are. The only way to put a stop to this lunacy from the left is to hand them defeat after defeat until they stop.

I predict many of them will run as moderates hopefully people do not fall for it

It could be Moderate Democrats are watching the news, see Antifa and a bevy of Progressive Socialist Liberals hijacked their party to attack, destroy, harass and scream as a party platform and it freaks them out. It doesn't look as good as the forum Lefties want to pretend it is.

Well, America is on a downward movement for a long time. What Trump has given us, tariffs that pushes a currency problem with foreign countries losing value to the American dollar and increasing the value of the American dollar. Products coming to America will be cheaper and off setting the tariffs in the first place. Items going to foreign countries will increase the cost to purchase in a foreign country.

The problem is that the moderates were complicit in the hijacking by not voting as moderates.

Like you say its weird. The far left squeezed the moderates out of their party and now they find themselves of needing them back if they want to win enough seats to regain control.

Tom Steyer is a poor investor,wasting 10 mil. He would of done better by opening a casino or investing to make more money. perhaps he could give DP the money and we'll split it up between us. This will help our own economy.

The only people who think that Democrats are "far left" are Republicans. The reality is that most believe that Democratic positions ARE MAINSTREAM. Most voters believe that Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security should be protected against Republican attempts to cut them. Most voters believe that Obamacare should be strengthened, not eliminated. Most voters believe that the rich should pay higher taxes and are against the GOP tax cuts.

It isn't that Democrats shifted to the left, Republicans have shifted back in time a few centuries. They don't believe in science or in a safety net.

Open borders, sanctuary city's, amnesty for illegal aliens, elimination of ICE, impeach Trump, raise taxes, mandated fines for not purchasing health care are not mainstream ideas. Ubber left people think they are but they are not.

Most voters are pretty close to be evenly divided between which party is worse for them. Only the extreme partisans believe one party represents good and the other evil.

Ya know...considering the standards for impeachment have nothing to do with public opinion, you would think there would be absolutely zero value added or purpose for private contributions to an impeachment process. The standard is "High Crimes and Misdemeanors"...not a bunch of pathetic twats that really really really hate Trump.

The global super rich do hate President Trump in his opposition to unlimited cheap migrant labor to keep American wages at the absolute minimum while eliminating the last of the trade unions, plus at the same time the President opposes their sending even American jobs to the foreign child labor sweatshops they run.

Ask yourselves, what’s so radical about protecting retirement income, expanding health care and reining in runaway bankers, and taxing rich people who have far more ability to pay higher taxes than workers? If you say, nothing, then you can only conclude that Democratic positions are mainstream.

Now, let's compare Democratic positions with Republicans. The GOP tried to blackmail Bill Clinton into cutting Medicare. George W. Bush, along with Paul Ryan, tried to privatize Medicare and raise the retirement age under Social Security. Trump and his GOP voted to cut taxes on the rich that fund Obamacare subsidies -- taking a funding source away that subsidies middle class health insurance. Republicans have also undermined financial reform, which helped stabilize the economy and protected many Americans from Wall Street fraud.

I would contend that the evidence concludes that Republicans are the radicals out-of-step from the mainstream.
