Someone has already been killed because of Trump dosser, Fusion GPS revealed.
'Somebody's already been killed' because of Trump dossier, Fusion GPS rep revealed | Fox News

" A attorney for the co-founder of opposition research firm, Fusion GPS revealed during a close door inrerview this Summer with Congressional investigators that " somebody's already been killed " as a result of the publication of the anti-Trump dossier"

Dianne Fienstein unilatterly released part of the transcript and Im trying to understand why.

Last year, Liberal news media outlets obsessed over the allegations in the dossier.
CNN reported it was used to obtain FISA warrants and Buzz-Feed published the entire dossier

As far as someone being killed, Fusion GPSs attorney was under oath

You're trying to understand why? It's a simple matter, really.

The GOP is in control of the committee that took the testimony, and they were withholding it from release because releasing it would pop holes in the false narrative that they're trying to promulgate about the 'real' scandal actually involving the Dems and Hillary.

But you already knew that.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled attempts at misdirection and distortions.

Trump and his cultists are pathological liars, so them being under oath doesn't actually mean anything.

Simpson, the guy from FusionGPS, was or is a Trump "cultist"?

I continue to be dumbstruck by some of these comments.

How does the revelation that someone has died because of this dossier pop holes in any narrative?

I'm sure you're really working at it.

Last year, Liberal news media outlets obsessed over the allegations in the dossier.

You should actually read it. I'm about halfway through and it's been pretty fascinating. Regarding this section, I think it was interesting that Simpson said what was reported was not really a "dossier", but rather memos written by Steele as part of his work. Additionally, I've read in other places the FBI already had information and that the Steele memos were not the only reason for a warrant, which would seem to, in part, corroborate reporting recently regarding Papadaupolous (sp?) and his interaction with Australian agents.

Again, I'm only halfway through it, but I've enjoyed it.

...are you claiming it is not true? Or what exactly are you trying to get at here?

That (bolded above) assertion is your take, and you are certainly welcome to it, but now those republicants can (and likely will) say that releasing such information could (and likely did) cost someone their life.

The release of this transcript today did not cost anyone their life before today. It COULD lead to someone else being injured/killed, but considering the transcript has some items redacted already AND considering Simpson was very careful to not provide details about his sources, it seems unlikely anything in the transcript would result in any injuries.

Not necessarily arguing with you, but the logic you presented that others might claim.

Here, I'll give you a clue: it's because congressional republicans are in the process of a full scale coverup.

They've been pushing this narrative that the Steele report was the trigger of the FBI counter intelligence probe, when the reality is they've known for months that it was people inside the Trump campaign that were the cause. That's why they've been withholding this transcript from the public, after they had promised to release it months ago.

Grassely, Nunes, Graham, etc, are lying scum, trying to cover for this president.

Throw them out of office.

They're likely desperate (and dumb) enough to try that, but they'll have a helluva time proving it. Which isn't something they've actually ever been interested in, in any case (3-5 MILLION illegals voted!!!)

And the person alleged to have been killed was done before the release of the transcripts.

Yep, they're doing everything they can to help Trump and his gang hide the truth, just like they did for Reagan in the Iran-Contra investigations.

Problem is, Trump and his campaign were incredibly sloppy.

What was released was not Classified. The only reason to withhold it would to craft a narrative by the GOP and the WH.

Youv've read in other places ? Lol !

No, you read the NYTS article that desperately tried to construct a new narrative that minimized the dossier influence in the investigation.

I guess the NYTs thinks their readers are morons.

CNN reported back in April that the dossier was used to not only bolster tje investigation but to obtain a FISA warrant.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cn...-donald-trump-russia-investigation/index.html

A Mother Jones article from January 2017 reports that the FBIs reacted with " Shock and Horror " after Steele had breifed them on the contents of the dossier..

The Spy Who Wrote the Trump-Russia Memos: It Was “Hair-Raising” Stuff – Mother Jones

Doesnt sound like the FBI had any prior information whatsover on Trump Russian collusion.

Michae Isikoffs Yahoo article from September is FILLED with allegations found in the dossier. He discuses information he recieved about a US intel investigation into Carter Page

https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-s-inte...ween-trump-adviser-and-kremlin-175046002.html

We now know his source was Fusion GPS, or Christopher Steele who was directed by Fusion GPS to brief reporters on the contents of the dossier.

When Steele briefed the FBI on the contents of the dossier, after they reacted with " shock and horror " what did they do ?

They obtained a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page. The allegations against Carter Page come diretly from the dossier.

No, Popadopolis wasn't the trigger, the dosier was. Media outlets have been obsessing over it since Steele leaked it to them

And this attorney is LYING when he claims that Fusion GPS wanted the dossier kept our of the media.

New court documents in the libel case against Steele proves he was directed by Fusion GPS to fly to Washington to brief a handfull of reporters fron Left wing media outlets.

Byron York: Trump dossier mystery deepens!

So try again

No deaths from the transcript but possibly Steele's contacts
Consider that Steele had contacts in Russia from his past employment, consider the contacts to gather this information would be high level, consider the FSB would be all over those like a fly on a turd. It is entirely possible that someone was killed.

Guess what...Nunes has the FBI documentation for the FISA request. Maybe you should wait till THAT is revealed before you insist on YOUR story.

Youv've read in other places ? Lol !
Yes, I haven't gone through the full transcript myself. I'm currently on page 164.

No, you read the NYTS article that desperately tried to construct a new narrative that minimized the dossier influence in the investigation.
Nope. Stop posting lies.

When I said from other places, I mean people who have directly quoted the transcript. Nothing more.

And in case you are curious, here is the section to which I referred (found using the "Find" feature in the web browser):

Simpson said:
Q. You said that he told you of the meeting with the FBI in Rome in mid or late September, that he "gave them a full briefing"?

A. A debrief I think is what he probably said, they had debriefed him. I don't remember him articulating the specifics of that. You know, my understanding was that they would have gotten into who his sources were, how he knew certain things, Glenn Simpson and, you know, other details based on their own intelligence. Essentially what he told me was they had other intelligence about this matter from an internal Trump campaign source and that -- that they -- my understanding was that they believed Chris at this point -- that they believed Chris's information might be credible because they had other intelligence that indicated the same thing and one of those pieces of intelligence was a human source from inside the Trump organization.

Do you wish to address this fact or not?
I guess the NYTs thinks their readers are morons.

*dishonest shilling omitted*

So try again
I'm not even going to waste my time with your nonsense when you quote articles from nearly a year ago, when new information has been reported in the last month which directly relates to this topic. You can either be honest or you can continue posting what you've posted. You cannot do both.

Are you going to respond honestly to what I posted or just continue shilling with outdated information? Please let me know now so I know whether you're worth the time.

Yes, past tense. Not future tense, which is what I understand ttwtt was claiming Republicans may claim.

CNN from April....

FBI used dossier to bolster Russia investigation and obtain FISA warrants

https://www.google.com/search?q=cnn...ms-tmobile-us&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Where did the FBI get their information on Carter Page ? Straight from the dossier

Mother Jones reported back in January that the FBIs responded to the allegations in the dossier with " shock and horror "

The Spy Who Wrote the Trump-Russia Memos: It Was “Hair-Raising” Stuff – Mother Jones

Shock and horror ? I thought they had know about Trumps contacts for months ?

Steele told Mother Jones that the FBI asked Steele to continue send them reports

Michael Isikoff September article is rife with allegations from the dossier and more specifically, about Carter Page allegations taken straight from the dossier
https://www.yahoo.com/news/u-s-inte...ween-trump-adviser-and-kremlin-175046002.html

The NYTs article that tries to minimize the dosssiers influence is a joke, so is Fusion GPSs oped.

As i posted in the other thread:

It was likely this guy...

Mystery death of ex-KGB chief linked to MI6 spy's dossier on Donald Trump

27 January 2017 • 9:30pm An ex-KGB chief suspected of helping the former MI6 spy Christopher Steele to compile his dossier on Donald Trump may have been murdered by the Kremlin and his death covered up. it has been claimed.

Oleg Erovinkin, a former general in the KGB and its successor the FSB, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day in mysterious circumstances.

Erovinkin was a key aide to Igor Sechin, a former deputy prime minister and now head of Rosneft, the state-owned oil company, who is repeatedly named in the dossier.

The articles from a year ago DEBUNK the new narrative that tries " unsuccesfully " to minimize the dossiers influence in the investigation.

CNN reported back in April the dossier was used to obtain FISA warrants. That it was used to bolster the investigation

Fusion GPS directed Steele to brief reporters on the dossier back in August, but Simpons lawyer doesnt want to divulge his sources ? Right

Fusion GPS wants to change the narrative ? Of-course they do. The House intel commitee has their bank records

Democrats want to change the narrative ? Of-course they do, Bruce Ohr directly tied the dossier to the Obama DOJ and Fusion GPS
