I think that black people have run out of patience. I don't blame them.

Blacks were claiming police violence for decades and weren't believed.
Then with the advent of cell phones, all these incidents began being caught on camera. Guess they were telling the truth all along.

His employer has a right to protect themselves. It's not like he's owed a relationship with them. He has the right to express his politics on his own time, but not on the job.
Kapaernick had no right to make others into a captive audience for his own personal views.

If he wants to go hold a protest sign in the street, that's up to him. But when he's on the job, then he's representing his employer who's paying him. Employer has the freedom to not want to be in a relationship with him. After all, Kapaernick was protesting against the American flag, which audiences might not like.

Why would Russia have this special mission to undermine America in this way - as compared to China, Iran, North Korea, ISIS, AlQaeda, etc?

Since then Russia has been our most adversarial and dangerous geopolitical opponent in the world. They weren't our friends 75 years ago, and they aren't our friends now. In 1968 there were scores of race riots across American cities after the assassination of MLK. Most of all of them began the same way they have now. Susan Rice misused national security intelligence infrastructure to spy on General Flynn in total violation of his basic rights.
The US Constitution will be used to punish those who behaved wrongfully against Flynn, just as it will be used to punish those who behaved wrongfully against Floyd.

I really don't understand why people think there AREN'T foreign actors fomenting violence. Undeniably, the CIA meddled in socialist leaning countries, and probably still does. Look, China doesn't have a problem with any kind of social backlash because it's a totalitarian state. Just a whisper of dissent is punishable by incarceration, and the people are sufficiently terrified, not to mention under blanket surveillance and every move scrutinized. They do seem to be turning consistently violent. NY cops have killed numerous black people yet this was the first time I've had a curfew. I'm thinking that since this is literally such an obvious example of police abuse it called for desperate measures. The guy was charged with murder in what has to be record time. Why are there even protests at this point?

Maybe because the protestors have been there done that. Cops get manslaughter charges for murder sometimes, rarely, go to trial and a complicit jury acquits him.

The more common outcome is that the cops are seldom charged with anything at all.

This has been going on for decades at least, and maybe the memory of the victims is still strong, the victims being a large class of people, the proverbial 99%

It was very apparent, even from news reports, that it was not a protest grown out of hand, but a coordinated, prolonged attack on multiple fronts. She was clearly either lying, or truly incompetent.

Taking her at face value, that she didn't have a clue what she was saying was wrong, had not looked at current material from the CIA and state department, or even news reports. That being the case, we certainly shouldn't pay attention to what she has to say now.
