You must remember when Trump was asked prior to the election whether if he lost, would he accept the results. Remember what he said? He said he WOULD NOT accept the results. He would have contested it. He would have said it was rigged. He would have made a big mess then just as he's doing now. It's classic Trump, strike back at those who oppose him in any way he can whether it's harmful for the country or not, it doesn't matter to him.

We didn't impeach a guilty president named Nixon either. Articles of impeachment were voted in the House committee only, Nixon quit, yet the hard core Nixon continued to say that if the president does it, it is not illegal. This is in contrast to Trump who while not impeached despite his treason who will never leave office without getting the bum's rush down the stairs out the door and onto his fat ass.

A coupe btw was a kind of car, typically small and two doors only, long and largely out of style. If you mean coup d'etat however we haven't had that either. Not to date anyway. Our long run without a coup in the homeland seems to be actively running in place at the present time rather than continuing to remain on ice.

Yep. He just completely ****ed the USA over. Nobody is going to share important information with a country whose leader could throw a temper tantrum at any second and expose valuable sources.

I can't believe his base is OK with this, but they're all over this thread, supporting this idiotic and dangerous act. Christ, I bet Putin's best wet dreams weren't as good as this reality.

Given your expressed gratitude I've decided to post it again on the incoming tide in the event some other posters might actually find it as dead on accurate and as ominous as I'd pointed it out to be. I'd hope to alert others too to get their rough weather gear on and to secure things that might get sent flying past 'em or into 'em.


So here again for the benefit of anyone else who might be equally grateful to see it is what I wrote:

Trump is above the law which means he is above the Constitution. This is grossly wrong and catastrophic to the republic and its democracy. It's exactly what the Putin-Trump Armband Rowers have dreamed of and it is now reality.

Well, if Barr goes forward with Trump's plans, then we shouldn't be surprised when another skyscraper gets a 747 jet fly into it, or a major bridge gets blown up, or a major reservoir gets poisoned. I don't even want to think of one of our nuclear power plants being sabotaged, I'm in the middle of the HBO series Chernobyl.

Trump has ordered it, so as long as he's POTUS every other country will put more restrictions on what information it gives to America.

Mind you, Trump did warn the world in Helsinki, that Putin was more trustworthy than the American Intelligence community. Turns out he made it happen. Jesus, what a traitor.

The problem with your "probably" guess is that at the time Mifsud was in contact with Papadopoulos and, by the way, when Downer had his talk with Papadopoulos there was NO investigation.

The information about Mifsud and the information from Downer is what the FBI has said was the impetus for their investigation, Crossfire Hurricane, which began at the end of July 2016.

btw, according to Mueller, Mifsud was a Russian agent. Are you contending that FBI or CIA agents put a Russian agent onto a member of the Trump campaign?

Anyway, don't worry about it. This stuff is what Barr was talking about when he mentioned that he's looking into the predicate for the spying. For Crossfire Hurricane.
