In essence, the Obama Administration conducted surveillance on Israeli officials that “also swept up the contents of some of their private conversations with U.S. lawmakers and American-Jewish groups.” Lee Smith, writing in Tablet Magazine, notes that such spying efforts were done in order to help the Obama White House fight its domestic political opponents rather than keep the nation safe from national security threats.

It should therefore surprise no one to discover that Obama loyalists deployed similar surveillance techniques to collect classified information on members of the Trump team and then selectively leak such information to compliant members of the news media in an effort to delegitimize such officials."

Because someone is mentioning him, and Trump is a self-centered, egotistical, narcissist and thus he must always watch anything that mentions him and then take to Twitter like some crying baby whenever what was said was negative.

But all this he's yelling about the FCC and stuff, it won't amount to anything. Trump is a huge blowhard, he has to run his mouth, so he's running his mouth about this. But words are wind and he'll never back it up because he cannot back it up. SNL is a comedy/satire show so it doesn't have to give "equal time". So the only thing all this bitching will be for is for Trump to continue to spin his "Fake News" narrative and for all the Trumpeteers to gobble it up.

The ironic thing about SNL is that you know Trump has to watch it. He has to watch himself being mocked & made to act & look ridiculous. That makes it even funnier. And the torrent of angry tweets that follow show that SNL found their target.

It's only funny until Trump decides that he has the same power as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
How did the Crown Prince manage to pull off dismembering and burning of Khashoggi's body so quickly?
Because the House of Saud had been doing the same thing en masse FOR YEARS against critics and dissidents.

What pisses Trump off is the fact that he cannot (yet) employ HIS OWN "Rapid Intervention Group" to grind up and barbecue dissidents and critics of his administration, he cannot pass laws that prohibit criticism of the authorities a la Putin, he cannot riddle bodies with anti-aircraft guns a la Kim Jong Un.

There is no oubliette door in the Oval Office yet, but Trump has already begun measuring the spot where the cut should be made in the rug.
