Nearly two-thirds of voters think Trump committed crimes before taking office, poll finds

Jimmy Carter was squeaky clean and one of the worse Presidents.
I'm sure Trump used our laws to his advantage, skirted some and maybe broke some in his decades of business dealings. But does that mean he's a bad President?
Ask that question after you admit that he is a liar, a crook, incompetent and all around a douche bag.

Liar? OK I suppose.
Crook? Well if you're a contractor who's worked for him...maybe.
Douche Bag? Matter of opinion really. I hear allot o' people say they like the man...socially... But what the hell...OK Douche Bag.
Incompetent? Not really eh? I mean...the results being posted shows this man to be anything but. He got NATO to finally pony-up. Renegotiated some trade deals to the benefit of the USA. Got manufacturing to begin to show up on the map again. Has had some marvelous economy numbers. No...Trump's allot o' things but "incompetent" is none of them.

If you wanna lay your eyes on incompetence...try Pochahontas...:lamo

So certain laws are Ok to break and not others?

Why are you so sure they all did it? I have never taken drugs of any kind. I am sure there are people like me out there.

According to you - laws for different people are not punished the same Trump can lie til the cows come home and it's a big snoozefest. Anyone on the other side?? Off with their heads.

Manafort sentenced to nearly 4 years, does that mean Mueller (who was seeking 19 years) is winning 'bigly' or sorely losing?

Yet even after I showed you your mistake you did not learn.

But you did.

No, Pence's Vice President, one he gets to choose would be next in line.

Is a result of your past posting.

You did not show my mistake, since I did not make a mistake.

Picking at nits, I see. Of course Pence gets to choose, that is a given. That nit, doesn't change the fact that I was correct, that V.P. is the next in line.

Plus, I rather doubt... Pence would want to turn the Presidency over to the next in line. Pelosi.

Your low expectations have nothing to do with my past posting.

Your low expectations are a result of being arrogantly superior and disdainful. "an air of haughtiness"

Roseann:)

Yes, it does.

Wow, a poll says that? Did these people also conduct a poll before his electoral win that said he had no chance of winning? I wonder if these are the same people that said they wouldn't vote for him, that then voted for him.

That’s not what the electoral polls said.

Nice diversion. Is she POTUS or running for POTUS?

I have no issue if she is investigated. :lamo

Now back to the actual POTUS who is responsible for the hole he has dug himself into....

Or perhaps yo want to look into Obama's birth certificate or his school records?

We never had an issue with investigating her - unlike Trump she didn't whine about it. She took it like a woman.

NEWSFLASH: All voters know that Washington is cram packed with nothing but corrupt liars, cheats, and scam artists.

Trump is no different. And he's far less corrupt than Hillary.

So....?

:2rofll::2rofll::2rofll:

I would argue Obama's blatant and arrogant executive overreach far exceeds anything Trump has done in office.
Then again, that makes you the same kind of person who ignores our Constitution, right?

You would argue incorrectly. Also, Trump doesn’t even understand the Constitution, because he’s ignorant. Obama has a law degree.

There's a bit of a difference between a crowd at a campaign rally hollering "lock her up!" and various congressional committees, a special prosecutor and various state attorneys general yelling "lock him up". Among other things, the former can't do it and the latter can.

Excuses excuses...............

Actually it is now and always has been a critical complaint. Lincoln said that we are a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Sadly, the EC is designed to allow a small number of elites to thwart and override the will of the people.

And even more sadly, the smaller states which normally go Republican giving that party an advantage, will not soon give away their advantage and agree to amend the Constitution getting rid of the EC.

So we have a situation where the Constitution itself has a mechanism which in the minds of many Americans renders the President illegitimate if he fails to win the popular vote.

That is a recipe for political disaster in a nation which is suppose to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

I'd like to see the results of a poll that asked if anyone personally knows of someone who has never broken any law.
It'd be a YES/NO poll.
It would only serve to show the extent of naivete or dishonesty.

Epitome of a straw man logic flaw.

So, since Hillary was a bad candidate, and supposedly crooked, Trump can’t be criticized by those who voted for Hillary over Trump. How ridiculous.

Yep, that’s their argument. Classic bonehead stuff.

Pity for you playing by the rules didn't work out the way you wanted.
That's what can happen liberal liberals are so illiberal that they choose to collect in States with people they agree with.

And ignorant conservatives are left over after they leave.

Got any proof of that charge? Why isn't he in jail? Why isn't Hillary in jail for the same reasons?

Yes, why doesn’t Trump investigate her? Why isn’t she locked up? It’s been years since the election, so what gives?

Quit your Hillary wining.

We never had an issue with investigating her - unlike Trump she didn't whine about it. She took it like a woman.

She really took on the Benghazi hearings like a champ.

I mean 11 hours of grilling her?

We can't even get one hour under oath from Trump.:lamo

We will be getting one or two of the Trumps before Congress, just not "the Don'.

I am not surprised, he was a slick businessman who bent the rules and if he could not bend them I am sure he broke quite a few of them. They may not have been capital violent crimes but I am sure he spread around plenty of suffering among people (that he swindled) and if true that he inflated his buildings worth or played down the value, then he may be in big trouble with the groups who handle such "deceit".

LOL Manafort a sold out his country to a foreign adversary for money and defrauded the U.S. Govt. You can't put lipstick on that pig.

What's getting old is the left claiming that Trump is scum and yet they would have accepted Hillary as president. I didn't vote for either.

I'm very curious...since you didn't vote for either, would you be defending Clinton to this same degree if she had won?

No. It means he's an unethical criminal.

Yes and people who vote for a criminal are abetting crime. The incoming Democrat government will, I am sure, bring to justice all Trump voters and send them to jail. But is this enough? Should not those who did not vote at all but would have voted Trump if they had voted at all also be punished- perhaps with a mild sentence of only 5 years? That will show how much Democrats value democracy.

It is certain that when in power the Democrats will reward the honest folk who voted for Mrs Clinton with $10,000 each - oh, why be stingy, let's make it $100,000.
