Trump supporters want him to be crass, insulting and offensive. They somehow view it as a positive character trait. All it is though is a reflection of them. Like school on a Saturday, no class.

We want him to drain the swamp.

We want him to defang the beast in DC.

We want him to cut regs.

We want him to create a climate for job creation.

We want him to cut taxes.

We want the wall built, and illegals stopped and removed.

For starters...

If he takes a few seconds now and again to smack arrogant, disconnected idiots like Streep for perpetuating a blatant lie... that's great.

As for the Ted Cruz, there are similarities, because he was mocking Ted Cruz as if he was disabled. People draw comparisons like that in insults. It's why people call their non-disabled friends retarded or whatever. It's not really a nice thing to do because it equates the comparison to an insult, but it's an absolutely disgraceful thing to do to someone who is actually disabled.

I've sometimes yelled 'duuuuhhhh' in a dumb voice to my friends when they do something stupid and it's not an issue, but if I were to do that to an actual disabled person you can bet if my mother were there she would give me a slap in the face. For good reason. She didn't raise me to be a bozo. Like Reagan said, in my sig 'Boys will be boys, but boys will not be president'.

I get the cognitive dissonance that this was the only candidate that was gonna let you keep your guns but that doesn't mean you have to justify his other disgraceful behaviour.

EDIT: Also don't give me the whole 'dishonesty' spiel when you claim that Streep et al have been saying Trump mocked the guy because of his disability, when nobody is saying that's the case.

Well obviously, because many of us still believe she was better than Trump. Just because we were outvoted doesn't mean we are wrong. Did you suddenly acknowledge that every democratic president was better than their republican counterpart just because they won? If she did win, then she, and the democratic party, would have had to answer for her flaws, just like how republicans now have to answer for Trumps.

Fact is, time to get over Hillary. Most liberals did back in 2016. She's not an excuse any more for the man you voted for being a ****ty human being.

I remember when Palin attempted this. This is laughable. We all know what whores conservatives are for the things they whine about, because every single time there's a call for a boycott of hollywood it absolutely never happens at all. It's like the biggest crusaders against 'sexual immorality' get caught in the bathroom stalls with 'wide stance' Trump and ya'll care so much about Streep's insults because they can't get enough of her. Unlike Trump, she's in no position to harm anyone by her comments, so there can be no other explanation

And you want to talk about irrelevant, half of hollywood's profits come from *China* So yeah Trump and his fellow haters of the disabled will not be swaying anyone

But really, you'll just have to cope with the fact that a boycott won't happen because more people like and are willing to pay for Streep's movies than are willing to take 2 hours to go vote for Trump for free. Actually, that might explain why you're so pissed - you fear her influence
