Trevor Noah explains the Covington kids

You don't see me praising the Black Israelis.

You especially don't see me supporting them holding elected office. So I have no onus to show how Trump or King is as bad as they are. The people who support Trump and King for high office have plenty to answer for.

I think it's just as fair to critique private citizens for verbal assaults as to critique politicians for their misdeeds, but maybe that's just me.

If you weren't praising the Black Israelis for "passionate political speech," was that directed at Nathan Phillips? Putting aside his problematic status, I don't think banging a drum in someone's face counts as political discourse.

Was what directed at Nathan Phillips?

I didn't praise anyone in this whole mess. Oh, you think simply calling something "passionate political speech" is praise? Well, that would be a mistake on your part.

I was a fan of Noah till he victim shamed the kids because of what they wore.

Your use of ambivalent wording is not my mistake.

He was just as much the knee-jerk leftist on the subject of Confederate monuments.

At least when John Stewart got things wrong, you knew that he was capable of reversing himself if he was proved wrong. Noah is just a tool of the media.

LOL. Your jumping to the conclusion that calling something "passionate" is praise is definitely your mistake.

How long are you intending to drag out your defense of your mistake? I'll pencil it in on my calendar and check back in when you are through.

Trevor Noah declared he is a fascist calling for getting in the face of anyone of an different political opinion to try to harass and terrify that opposition - particularly if children. It is easy to see why liberals in the press so highly praised Hitler in the 1930s.

I know you are, but what am I?

Those of us who actually watched the clip know that is not what he said.

As explained on page 2, this thread is a lie. But like most threads on DP, people who wanted to further Luther's false narrative about the clip showed up and added a whole lot of pages to the thread with noise, and then went back to repeating Luther's lies. Naturally, they are betting that by doing this, anyone coming to the thread for the first time won't actually bother reading through the early pages and instead look at the OP then pop to the very most recent comments.

He went on a huge tirade about the hat right in the middle of it.

Wearing the MAGA hat actually does a better job of bring out the real "evil" people out from the woodworks, if we are going to use such terminology. Just put one on and walk around minding your own business and see who accosts you, assaults you, steals your property, harasses you, ect.

That would be an interesting experiment. I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody wearing one, but then again, I don't look at people's baseball caps. I think they're stupid, even more so when worn backward, and I never got this trend.

Who looks at stupid hats and caps? Has it really come to this? Shaking my head.
