Re: Exposed: Republican Operative Lies
I don't understand this whole "republican operative" concept. What makes somebody a "republican operative"?
Anyone that is unhappy with what the liberals are doing automatically become 'republican operatives' or, with the case of Obama, 'they just don't like black people'.
And there is no proof that this woman is currently a member of the Republican party, only that she WAS. And for the record, it is possible to leave a party if you don't like it anymore.
WHAT DOES IT MATTER??? Let's say the republicans sent an 'operative' to one of the 20 events that saw congressmen get shouted down, at the other 19 events there was still 90% + of the crowd that were expressing their displeasure with Obama-care... some of these events were only circultated to registered democrats to start, and most of those people are very unhappy as well... so does that mean that Obama's supporters suddenly caught the new 'racist bug' that's been going around since he's been elected?

Thus,
deception is the key here.(she was obviously trying to keep her GOP affiliation secret)
What about the REST OF THE 80-90%+ of each of these crowds??? Are they operatives too?? Is EVERYONE a racist repblican operative that is pissed off about this proposed health-care bill??
Can you show me where she says she left because she didn't like it anymore?
Can you prove she hasn't paid her dues? (Maybe she had her husband right the check so that she could say SHE hasn't paid her dues.......Is that not also possible?
COMPLETELY IRRELEVENT!!
(As a former fed investigator, I'd be willing to bet that her dues ARE all paid....Just a hunch.)
OMG NO... 1 republican woman in a crowd of a few hundred chanting against the new healthcare bill is a registered republican... what did she do, pay off the entire crowd to shout the representative down??
These people are demanding the truth from their public servants. Yes, the public servants are free to say what they want and the people they serve are free to call them down when they are lieing, or misrepresenting the will of the people.
These are the same tactics that have been used by the Leftists for 40 years. Hell, the Leftists invented this strategy. I think they're just getting pissy because the tables are turned. I find it funny as hell.
Now with Obama they get the extra benefit that ONLY a racist could possibly go against Obama's policies... I swear is't gotten to the point where Obama could get caught eating a baby, and he'd turn to his teleprompter and say 'what you don't like people eating babies... why don't you like black people??'
I don't support shouting people down.
Hey, if an elected REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE cannot handle the voice of his constituents... he should remove himself from office... "can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen." is an appropriate expression.
It's like when people show up at college casmpuses to scream at David Horowitz or something -- if the behavior is thuggish, it has no place.
You know what else has no place in AMERICA?? An elected official snubbing the views of the people that elected him in the first place. There is nothing 'thuggish' about shouting down a political figure if they are acting against the will of the people... especially if it's done in a peaceful manner.
I'm more of an old school guy, myself, in that I support marches and protests when they are non violent, but I do not support intimidation, physical threats, bullying behavior, mob thuggery, or the infringement upon other people's rights.
Take in France... someone tries growing GM crops, the people come and burn it down. If the politicians act against the will of the people, they gett off their a$$ and they riot.
If you got a bully that's trying to take your lunch money, and don't get anywhere talking to him... the next step is walking up and punching him in the nose. Right now these guys are acting like the bully that just got punched in the nose and they're going to 'dad' (obama / the press) and crying about how they are having a hard time to have their way.
To give an example, if people wish to protest around abortion clinics, more power to them. Carry some signs, sing some songs, hand out some literature, no prob. If they start actively intimidating women entering the clinic, however, then they have crossed the line that seperates peaceful protest from thuggery.
This is a different situation... you're talking about going out and intimidating a poor woman that's made the decision... while I may not agree with that decision, it's hers to make and she deserves protection.
An elected official is no longer just a 'private citizen' he is a 'public official' who must answer to his public.
Same goes for the people organized against health care. If they wish to gather outside the venue, OR if they wish to present their case in a reasonable manner within the venue, that's just fine. If they are using bullying tactis to prevent OTHERS from expressing their views, though, they have crossed the line.
Bolded - Free speech zones means nobody has free speech unless they are in that zone... that's at the least a slight to the constitution and at worst a punk slap to the face of the founders who fought and died for our rights to be able to speak our minds in the first place.
Did you watch the videos?? Have you seen what's been going on at these town hall meetings?? Go find the raw videos... there you'll see the entire town halls in a couple cases where everyone is shouting to 'just say no' to the healthcare plan... They are not stopping anyone else from voicing their opinions... it's the common opinion of the poeple that is being expressed at these meetings... the ONLY PEOPLE crossing the line are the public officials who respond to this by saying 'I don't care what you say, I've made my decision'
I believe that one person's right to swing their fist ends at another person's nose. You seem to be of the opinion that your own personal opinion on the subject means that your own right extends to the point of making contact.
Do you think we live in China or South Korea or something like that where the people in power have no concerns about their people??
If a representative is no longer representing, then he's getting a check for not doing his job, and it becomes the peoples right to pick him up out of his office and throw him out onto the street... no, wait... it's the people's DUTY to DEMAND that these public officials do their jobs.
Again, though, one does not foster free speech by acts geared towards suppressing it. This is just the :spin: of those who support the thuggery to try to obfuscate the real issue -- that they are simply attempting to FORCE their own opinions into policy.
Noone is trying to 'suppress anyones speech' these people that are legitimately pissed off are engaging in their right to free speech by demanding that their representatives actually pursue the will of the people rather then the will of the lobby groups that buy them steak dinners on a regular basis.
I saw it already and she was not just knee deep she was swimming in it
WHO CARES?!?! These people shouting down politicians ALL ACROSS AMERICA all get discredited as racist republican agents, because of this 1 woman??
OMG and people say I'M DELUSIONAL.
