White Supremacist Groups see Trump Bump

The Ku Klux Klan is using Donald Trump as a talking point in its outreach efforts. Stormfront, the most prominent American white supremacist website, is upgrading its servers in part to cope with a Trump traffic spike. And former Louisiana Rep. David Duke reports that the businessman has given more Americans cover to speak out loud about white nationalism than at any time since his own political campaigns in the 1990s.

"Demoralization has been the biggest enemy and Trump is changing all that,” said Stormfront founder Don Black, who reports additional listeners and call volume to his phone-in radio show, in addition to the site’s traffic bump. Black predicts that the white nationalist forces set in motion by Trump will be a legacy that outlives the businessman’s political career. “He’s certainly creating a movement that will continue independently of him even if he does fold at some point.”

When it comes to discriminatory laws, there is a difference between discriminatory intent and discriminatory effect. I see a similar trend going with Trump. I do not necessarily believe that Trump or his policies are racist in their intent; however, it is quite clear that they are racist in the effect. Furthermore, it is quite clear that, irregardless of Trump's alleged stance with regards to racism, there are racist groups which explicitly benefiting and using Trump to further their political aims.

Continued support for trump will only further encourage these types of movements.

Interesting.

It seems to be that we have entered a period when extreme racist groups are getting some energy from the political process.

As you've posted, apparently the KKK is feeling some motivation. On the far left, the President, and Socialists Progressives, have helped to create the racist Black Lives Matter group that is seeking similar, but obviously opposite objectives of their counterparts in the KKK.

With such hateful energy being stirred up on both sides, it will be interesting to see when cooler heads will prevail and the people behind the curtains will stop spinning up the emotions of the citizens.

rand paul even lost the stormfront vote? hes just not as good as his dad is he?

Islam is not a race.

And the most racist people in America are the Black Lives Matter clan.

It is cleary Trump's fault that KKK loons support his policies, after all, he meets with them constantly. ;)

Hmm... Which candidates meet with race neutral groups like Black Lives Matter?

Inside Hillary Clinton's Meeting With Black Lives Matter

It amazes me that people try to frame BLM as a racist organization. Sure, a minority may be genuine racists towards Caucasians, but that's hardly comparable to actual white supremacist groups.

he's not.... hes saying that he views fighting for your race to be a noble cause, just like the Jewish Defense League, or The Native American Rights Fund, He views the KKK as protecting him the same way those groups protect jews or native americans

I'm not a Trump fan but this is getting enjoyable watching the collective heads of the left just spin and spin and spin. I thought the Sarah Palin obsession was a sight to behold. That was nothing compared to this.

Setting aside that all of the democratic candidates met with BLM and the fact that means you have caucasian people supporting a group that supposedly hates caucasians...wait, I am not sure I got your point anymore.

Let's not forget that the Hispanic group THE RACE has been energized by the Obama Presidency.

so that makes discriminating against them okay?

It's not discrimination. It's common sense.

We have no idea who these people are. They have no documentation. Until that's resolved, they shouldn't be allowed to settle here. Perhaps safe zones in their countries until we get this figured out.

what about the mexicans you gonna use "common sense" to round them all up too?

Do you mean La Raza? The group whose name can literally translate to The Race but doesnt technically mean the race. It helps to understand translation of one language into another before claiming a word in one language means something.

Not just that. The RNC is beside itself. These massively corrupted Washington politicians from both sides have lost control of the kitchen, and they don't know what to do.

Everyday Hispanics speak of La Raza as literally The Race. Whatever esoteric meaning it holds among its philosophical creators is lost on these folks.

Good point. La Raza has been spreading their propaganda like wildfire, attempting to capitalize on the welcome mat the Obama Administration and his fellow Socialist Progressives have put down for illegal aliens.

Obama has successfully and intentionally driven a massive racial divide into America, the likes we haven't seen in 150 years.

It's entirely what he wanted.

thats strange because i never EVER hear about la raza except when a white supremacist is trying to defend his racist views

Haha! The name means "THE RACE" but... but..

So what does it TECHNICALLY mean?

actually all the races are together, whites seem to be the only ones divided

I don't know, what would a Communist do? Shoot them in the head?

what do you mean? their a minority group you have to have some plan to get rid of them? your a republican aren't you?

Interesting. You know I never read that claim unless a poster has nothing to offer and thinks they could be clever. ;)

Well he did promise to fundamentally transform America.
