There is this piece of paper that was signed Sept. 17, 1787.
You mean the judge that made a decision that I haven't heard a single positive word about, which decision was overturned by the next rung up the ladder?
It doesn't matter that his ruling was overturned. It's worrisome enough that he ruled that way to begin with.

What are you most afraid of:
The Islamic Cultural Center near Ground Zero
Sharia Law coming to the U.S.
Both the Islamic Cultural Center and Sharia Law
Don't be silly, neither one is a threat to us.
Sadly, probably most of them....Boy oh Boy, what a bunch of paranoid people. I expected somebody would be afraid of one or both, but not an overwhelming majority (74 -27). I wonder if these if these folks are afraid of their own shadow.
I wonder what percentage of these folks watch Fox or listen to 'conservative' talk radio.
One idiot does one stupid thing, and suddenly you're worried?
There's 300 million of us living here. You throw in human nature, and you'll get something like this every once in a while.
It's not a sign.
Sadly, probably most of them....
FDR "we have nothing to fear but fear itself"
And the times and conditions back then were far worse than today..
I think that it is easier to cater to mans fears than it is to understand and respect him.
He's a judge. He's not Mary the waitress.
FDR is the one who should have been feared.
People who don't pay taxes outnumbering those of us who do and voting away the wealth of taxpayers thus turning the USA into another Greece
More afraid of radical right wingers taking power based on fear of Islam and other "things" and turning the US into a fascist state.
It's crazy, I should have included Hasidic Laws in the poll choices. :lamo69 people said both??
Holy crap!
Am I living in Dumfuchistan?
Be afraid, be very afraid of the far-right putting this country on the midnight train to hell.
no, turning the US into an Idiocracy.
why would that scare you-it would guarantee the dems winning every election. The people with the lowest rates of education always favor the dems in national elections. a majority of HS dropouts have favored the dems in every presidential election in the last 32 years or so
You're full of crap -- I know for a fact what you're saying is full of crap-- in fact, in some southern states, it's just the opposite.
You got no legitimates stats, links, or data to back that up.
You're not even spinning any more, you're just making crap up.
Pretty pathetic...
:waiting:"full of crap"
wow that is some seriously educated debating tactics there
but the fact remains-the lowest cohort of education-high school dropouts-have favored the dems in almost every presidential election
that makes sense-dems are the party of income redistribution and hs dropouts are generally people without much income
I want you to state that you think HS dropouts are more likely to vote for the GOP candidates than the dems
I know what the answer is-so go ahead.
:waiting:
Hold it, pal, I'm calling you out. You made the claim about Dems being poor high school drop outs.
I'm saying you're full of crap.
Either you post the stats to back your claim or admit you were wrong.
That's how it works. You say something. I call b.s. Now you got to back it up.
I don't have to prove you claim is not true. That's idiotic.
Well, can you, Turtle. Can you back it up???
:waiting:
06 elections which was a good one for dems
CNN.com - Elections 2006
No High school
Dems 64% GOP 35%==that is the biggest group for dems in terms of a percentage advantage
btw before you start crowing about "post graduates" favoring dems guess what is the most common two post graduate degrees
teachers and lawyers-two groups that are the biggest source of donations to the dems
but I guess you can just admit you got owned
