So I have had a subscription to Norton AV for awhile and decided to change.
Downloaded the official Norton removal tool and followed the directions.

Still having to manually go through program files and folders and delete them since I keep getting Norton popups and now have a Norton icon in my taskbar that finally disappeared.

Haven't used Windows for many years, but the registry probably needs some cleaning up.

Norton has been malware for decades.. along with McAfee and a few other "big name" so called anti-virus companies. In reality you only need Windows built in system and of course not being a "noob" on the internet :) VPN is more valuable than anti-virus these days.
