The website was specifically for parents concerned their children had ROGD. Those parents were coming in with the idea that it existed to begin with, and then they were the only ones asked about it, about their kids' feelings. This is definitely biased.

You have that backwards. It's the left that constantly think about sex. This is why, for example, they get REALLY mad if you ban pornographic material from being distributed in schools. So far as having a picture up, none of my teachers had pictures of their spouses up, but if that was all it was then there'd be no problem. There is a difference between rebuttals and studies. You don't get to claim them as "studies" when they are just articles, comments about other things. Studies have data, evidence. Those letters of rebuttal do not, whether peer reviewed or not, count as studies. Studies are very specific, not simply "well this person said something".

As far as I know I never claimed they were studies and if I did, it was in error. Studies and articles are both valuable in this argument. More valuable than websites.

That one with 1655 participants is the second study, not by Littman, but rather by Bailey and Diaz in 2023, which was retracted for having the same flaws as Littman's. I've already said there are two studies (again, just counting studies) that have to do with "ROGD".

As far as I know, only one of the actual research studies I've shared with you in this argument was retracted. The other was not. The one that was retracted was only done after the LGBT community had a hissy fit and pressured them to retract it. It's all in the video.

You don't get to count a study that is talking about the prevalence of gender dysphoria, as that doesn't prove anything that is being claimed regarding ROGD. You are making assumptions and rather wrong assertions if you are making such claims of that connections. That isn't science.

Littman has one study on this, the one with the survey done in 2015, but results published in 2018, then with corrections made at the demand/direction of the leadership of Brown University because of it being misleading in 2019.

You claimed you had about 4 studies at one point. You also claimed "how about this study" for a couple of your links.

One was retracted and the other was shown to have serious flaws so had to be changed to reflect what it was actually about and that it really couldn't support the things it claimed.

You can't use that study for that because it doesn't show anything except that more are willing to share their feelings, at different ages, including early childhood and after. Her study didn't even show whether they were actually going through any transition, at least not in connection to those whom the parents felt showed signs right after their "change in friends or internet browsing".

Your video is bias. They are going to make any excuse they can to defend those horrible studies.

This is too radical and too tangential. I don't agree with teachers secretly helping children socially transition without the parents' knowledge or permission, but I don't see what it has to do with being a sexual offense. Obviously things are being conflated with this bill.

Identifying as transgender is not the same as gender dysphoria, yet she presents this as "rapid onset gender dysphoria". And she used biased parents from anti-trans sites to judge teens without any input from the teens themselves at all.

No. His gender affirming surgery was done on his chest, to fix a condition related to being a guy, having a more stable chest. It is elective. I was also being facetious. It is elective surgery though and he chose to have it done right as his twins were due, which was a really shit choice to make.
