Those figures also fail to mention people that don't get caught illegally crossing.

The term open border deals with people walking up to a port of entry and presenting a phony ass asylum claim. Unless they are Cuban or Haitian they will likely get entered into the twelve year backlog of asylum cases and will be released into the US.

We have been through this before. We have laws that require us to admit migrants with asylum claims. The Senate Republicans drew up a bill that changed that law and Trump killed it. Every single President will have to admit asylum seekers until that law is changed. Trump admitted 51% of apprehended migrants and will do the same if elected again. The courts will strike down any attempt to violate that law. The dead border bill also funded more asylum judges to speed up the process but that is all a pipe dream now. There will be no legislation passed to change it without Democrat support and that is history. Trump and the GOP OWN the "open border" now and that was their choice. You need to face the fact that neither Trump or the GOP want any changes to the flow of cheap labor into the country and the Dems are certainly not going to do it on their own.

They need weapons not men. We have a slew of old outdated weapons to send them too. Why don't you go and fight for Putin? He has been losing 1000 men a day in Ukraine. I feel strongly that America must not renege on our promise to Ukraine. That we would back them until they win their freedom. I'm glad that France did not renege on their promise to George Washington or we would not be a country. Do you think we should give Alaska back to Putin? He has nukes and we don't want to upset him right?
