Yes and he's a man who belongs on our money.

You're celebrating that for the first time as much a HALF the people approve of the job he's doing? Any other business and that employee would be fired.
Florida?
In June of Bush's seventh year in office he had an approval rating of 31%. While I wouldn't call Obama's 50% approval rating mega-inspiring, there are sure as hell a lot lower bars.

I didn't realize Reagan personally went over to the Soviet Union and personally tear down the Berlin Wall.
Better than Reagan too in his 7th year. But Clinton was flying above them all.
No, I understand the concept of neighbor helping neighbor not a federal bureaucracy being that neighbor, now answer the questions?
Speaking from the perspective of someone who voted for him twice, I can say Obama let a lot of his base down on certain things, but stepping back and looking at the big picture, he'll be "fine."
But you apparently are clueless about FDR and how he fundamentally changed the nation over 70 years ago. Neighbor helping neighbor is fine but FDR saw it was clearly insufficient. Obama has put us back on the path and I don't think we will be straying from it for a while. I thank GW Bush for that favor. It turns out he was not a total failure.
You beat me to the punch. I think the members of our local DP President's hater's Club forgot about that.
One thing for sure, even if Obama solved world hunger and had Israel and Palestine hold hands and sing Kumbaya, 30-40% of Americans would still curse him. LOL!
I think 50% is about all he can hope for.
You gotta understand that in Con's mind, 9/11 occurred on Clinton's watch, GWB took over and through his great leadership captured and killed Bin Laden and then led the United States into economic utopia. Its par for the course.
And if your neighbor is broke, too?
I don't see where that link tracks consecutive months...?
First non-white president. Gave lots of people health care. Shifted thought to the Left. Gay marriage. Out of Iraq and Afghanistan. ACA. Unemployment down. In some circles he will be remembered as one of the all time greats
Yes, what FDR did is create massive entitlement programs making people dependent. It does appear that you are either unable to compete in society and need a big govt. to provide you for what you want. Obama has indeed put us back on the path of entitlement growth and with entitlements come dependence and debt. The value of your dollar is going to be worthless. Is that what you really want?
To me this just proves that the American population is seriously fickle and has a short attention span. That's the only logical explanation why a President (and not just this one) can fluctuate so wildly over the course of a couple weeks based on single events.
And you can't get any lower than a Bush I'm afraid. That's why the GOP keeps running them.
Obama inherited an economy that had 142 million working Americans, in two years he took it to 139 million and now you want to give him credit for record numbers of consecutive months of private sector job growth? You believe ACA, minimum wage increases, changes in overtime rules benefit the private sector and will cause them to grow jobs? It does appear that you have no understanding at all of the private sector and how it works. The economic results today are a tribute to that private sector, NOT obama

I'm with ya.yeah, and at this point you have to think long term. It all hinges on Obamacare. mixed reviews on the economy and foreign affairs for sure(and failing grades on race relations). If Obamacare lasts and people are generally happy with it in 10 years big boost for him. If it crashes and burns and has to be taken apart then he will basically be remembered for being the first black president, and that's about it.
