I don't consider Obama's comment
remotely worth getting one's panties in a bunch (as we're seeing here), but the partisan hypocrisy is pretty thick...
:spin:
Cheney dropped the f-bomb on the floor of the Senate.
You seem to be of the mind that cursing in generalities is ZOMG!, yet a direct personal cursing out is perfectly acceptable,
especially if it's not on video. Very interesting. But regardless of your excuses concerning
where Cheney's "Eff you!" was uttered, it still came out of his mouth as a
personal attack. Obama's talk of kicking asses cannot be described as a personal attack on an individual in
any way.
Aw, you don't really want to go there, do you? Let's talk about "not too professional or presidential..."
YouTube - Bush's One-Fingered Victory Salute
Of course, the above wasn't done in anger or directed at an individual, but I'd be interested to hear your excuses for Bush's "professional/presidential" use of the middle finger
while on camera. And, you know, I don't recall any righties having palpitations when Bush issued his own
personal curse attacks...
"There's Adam Clymer, major-league asshole from The New York Times."
- George W. Bush, before a speech during a Naperville, Ill., campaign rally
"You ****ing son of a bitch. I saw what you wrote. We’re not going to forget this."
- Bush to then Wall Street Journal Washington bureau chief Al Hunt in a Dallas restaurant in front of other diners, including Hunt’s wife, Judy Woodruff, and 4-year-old son
