What is it with some people? Obviously I didn't wear green today.
I've got bright orange on. Almost the hunter safety orange bright.

So what?

What is it with some people, and lots of some people, who think it's some kind of requirement to wear green on this dumb day?

I'm not freakin Irish, and I see no reason to pretend to be.
It's just Thursday to many of us. Deal with it.

I don't want any green beer either.

Orange is like the WORST color to wear on St. Paddy's Day. That's like wearing a shirt with the Pakistani flag to Diwali.

Gee, I bet you're the life of the party.

I usually forget to wear green, thanks for the reminder. ;)

I typically bring beer and a guitar to parties.
I also tend not to criticize what people wear to parties.

I might not be the life, but I'm sure as hell not the death of them either.

Flyers colors. They beat Chicago last night, and currently hold the bubble spot for the playoffs.

That is far and away more important to me than some silly pseudo-holiday.

I'm Irish, have an Irish Wife and nearly green eyes. I don't play St. Patty's day.

FWIW, St. Patty wasn't even Irish.

That depends, what do you play on said guitar?

Ironic that you would use the "mr green" smiley.

Hittin' the sauce already? Freakin' Irish.

I play everything from Garth Brooks and Luke Bryan to Tool, Led Zeppelin, and The Who.
I've always loved grunge so lot's of Alice in Chains. A little Soundgarden. Some Elvis Costello. Staind. Aaron Lewis.
Jimmy Buffet. Bon Jovi. Chris Stapleton. Radiohead. Pink Floyd. Foo Fighters.

And the beer I bring is never Coors or Bud...it's always craft beer.

Funny catch with the green smiley. :applaud

I stand corrected. You are indeed the life of the party. :D

I used to love Pat's Day. Take the afternoon off, get drunk, watch girls lift their tops. Good times. But, that was at least 20 years ago.

I'm half Irish, and so is my husband. Therefore our kids are all half Irish. And none of us are wearing green today!

I'm wearing a Zuccarello jersey.

Nope, did not wear green today. Not only did I forget, but now that I am reminded I just don't care.

I wonder if you would be qualified to become Ireland's Taoiseach? Could happen.

I wear green to keep my wife from pinching me all ****ing day.

Hit them back. Start with a sharp punch to upper arm in that charlie-horse area...see if they continue to pinch you.

*pinch then run away laughing*

I don't dare...

I accidently wore green. Someone said "Good job wearing green!!" I said "Why? Is it St. Patty's day or something?"
For once I wasn't being sarcastic just oblivious but luckily my personality covered it up :ninja:

I'm sorry, but I left out the word wife. You don't mind if I ignore your advice?

T'is a fine day to be Irish. Of course, every day is. ;)

I did hoist a pint of Guinness at lunch, and the corned beef has been cooking since last night. Just added the potatoes, and the cabbage is waiting.
