Has Weld backed off his anti-2A stance?
Has Trump?
Has Weld backed off his anti-2A stance?
What effecylt on policy could Mr. Trump have in 2012?
I don't care what he thought as a citizen. I only care what he thinks as president.
That's just like the libbos going on about Nr. Trump supporting the Iraq war. That's impossible!
I am a lifelong hunter and gun owner. In 1993, as Governor of Massachusetts, I went along with modest restrictions on firearms. Governing involves tough choices. Today, I would make different choices. Restricting gun rights doesn't make us safer, and threatens our constitutional freedoms. I support the Supreme Court's decision in the District of Columbia vs. Heller -- a decision that embraced the notion that Second Amendment rights are individual rights, not to be abridged by the government.
He's deflecting. The pro-Clinton Trump has a lot of things up his sleeves people likely aren't going to want, but because he has the R next to his names, the partisans have to hold water. So they try to grab onto anything they can, use distortion and lies as a backbone of their arguments, and try not to think too much about how much the pro-Clinton Trump is going to disappoint.
Johnson just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully this will all reach a climax in November.
But, as a member of the government, he supported gun bans. How many anti-gun policies did Mr. Trump support when he was holding elected office?
Hillary Clinton doesn't hold any office today. So everything she says isn't relevant, is that right?
Mr. Trump was a gun grabber not so long ago, and you placing your head firmly up his ass and attempting to ignore it doesn't change that.

She has been working in government for entire adult life.
Name one piece of anti-gun legislation Mr. Trump signed off on. Just one!
Has Mr. Trump suggested a gun ban?
"For the first time in a century, the New Hampshire Union Leader chose not to endorse the Republican nominee for president—and is instead backing Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. “Americans are being told that we have to choose the lesser of two evils,” Union Leader publisher Joe McQuaid wrote in an editorial published Wednesday night. “No, we don’t.”

That's exactly what we're being told. The huckster versus the harridan are each saying they're better than the other guy. Some suckers are backing Trump because, they say, they want to stick their finger in the eye of the Washington elites.
Sorry, but Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are both Washington elites, both liberal Democrats, both New Yorkers by birth or by choice.
If you want to tell the Washington elites, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more," don't settle for the two elites they've presented you as choices. Vote for anyone but Sen. Clinton or Mr. Trump. When you're told, "You have to pick one of the two," just say, "No we don't."

William Weld is pro-gun ban. Why would Johnson pick a gun grabber as his running mate?
Pointing out that he's completely inexperienced in politics isn't a positive point.
I don't know. Why do you support a "gun grabber" for president. I'm going to guess its for similar reasons; agreed with them on to other issues and don't feel their previous stance is that important.
Why are you saying these really stupid things? They aren't deflecting away from Trump's desire to ban guns, you know.
I'm not supporting a gun grabber.
In the past, yes. He has suggested support for assault weapons bans.
Ah, my mistake. I thought you supporter Donald trump.

When he was holding office? What governmental position was he in, at the time?
