The only human difference that is really relevant is "intelligence".
Doesn't really have anything to do with "race".
But the top couple percent could completely bamfoozle the.lower 30% or so and they wouldn't even know it.
And do.
Every very intelligent poster here, and there are quite a.few from all "leans" knows good and well that they have a SIGNIFICANT advantage over a BIG chunk of the population. It is what it is.
SOME mechanism should be in place to prevent these abuses, and I don't see any universal intellectual "chivalry" happening.
The strong should not prey upon the weak. Any metric of strength. We are not animals.
I agree, the only thing that matters here is intelligence. You say its not about race, but when you say that someone of less intelligence is given equal consideration as someone of greater intelligence just because of race, well I have a problem with that.
The protections you speak of are to prevent abuses of fraud or gross misleading. That is a criminal law issue. What I'm talking about, is protecting people from competition. No one in this country has any sort of right to do a job poorly, or should I say less well then someone else could. Jobs, education, promotions etc. should go to the person who is the most qualified, which in most instances means the most intelligent. Any other system is unjustifiable in my eyes.
