There are times much like these where protection from enemies include the latest weaponry such as: the Atomic bomb in the 1940's and the use of drones in the recently. To turn a blind eye to that which would most benefit those who the government must protect is more than negligent or irresponsible; it is reckless and can only lead to disaster.
