They want the civil rights movement back.

Well, you are certainly welcome to try.
I've read about Joe Hill. It's been done throughout history, so...
We're at the selective quoting part of the discussion, where someone snips my comments then asks the same question already addressed. I don't see the point. If you want your pat on the head, and want the rest of us to pat previous generations of progressives for their efforts, that's been done. I gave specific examples and there are many others.I didn't say it was easy to win, I said that progressive policies are extremely popular even in red states, and candidates who run on them will win in many cases. When moderates are looking to defeat a progressive, they don't attack from the right, they attack from the left. Because it is those policies that win the argument. This was done against Nina Turner when she was ahead by 20 points against her closest competitor within her own party.
Which policies did Tim Burchette run on?
What is your point? That pro-civil rights activists didn't win the argument, or that it happened all by itself? That moderates aren't dead weight and an obstacle to be moved? I honestly don't know what you're arguing against.
Which progressive policies do you disagree with? Which right-wing policies do you agree with? Which progressives policies, when met half way (in the moderate center), would be better than if they were implemented as progressives envisioned?
Just curious.
Who is making the argument if not the radicals?
You don't think the Israeli government has fascists in it?
Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s self-described ‘fascist homophobe’ finance minister, to visit U.S.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu grudgingly conceded Friday that a Cabinet ally’s demand for a Palestinian village to be “wiped out” was “inappropriate.www.peoplesworld.org
Ehud Barak: Gov’t shows ‘signs of fascism’; mass ‘non-violent revolt’ may be needed
Referencing Netanyahu, former PM says those currently on criminal trial have joined forces with 'racist messianics' to 'bring down democracy' in Israelwww.timesofisrael.com
What do you think of the Israeli Settler movement?
Wow you found some opinion pieces and one from a progressive socialist mouthpiece.
You can find some accusations of facism in every single government in the world if you look hard enough. Doesn’t mean it is a real thing.
But it’s rather telling that you keep supporting the people who are actually throwing LGTBQ people off of roof tops while trying to condemn israel because in your conspiracy they will someday not support LGBTQ people like they do now.
And try and convince people that’s a rational argument.
But just fyi all you are really doing is showing just how very similar the far right and the far left really are. You guys are the opposite side of the exact same coin.
Well, we have a terrorist organization dedicated to killing Jews, which attacked innocent Jews celebrating a Jewish holiday. We have college Hamas look-a-likes harassing Jewish students here in the US.Oh look, more Jew = Israel propaganda from a white moderate.
"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." - Martin Luther King Jr, 1963

Oh look, someone who defends hatred of Jews by trying to convince us this has nothing to do with Jews.
That's a bunch of bullshit.
Way to support Jewish hatred.Wow, way to double down.
I'm not a moderate, but you go 'head and think whatever you want.I'm sorry that you (meaning moderates)
???have lost the argument for the 99th time,
Lol. You're a hoot.but there are more important things than nursing your wounds.
When you find one, let me know.Like a legit genocide.
I'm not a moderate, but you go 'head and think whatever you want.
I'm not arguing. I'm pointing out antisemitism. It's rampant on college campuses. And internet forums.
When you find one, let me know.
Way to support Jewish hatred.
Cool story. A few members of a government being anything doesn’t make that government something. Some members of the Israeli government admit to being fascist. As do some of the Israeli settlers.
Yes you are.
By largely Jewish student activists. Okay, whatever you say, champ.
You remind me of Alan Dershowitz. You do realize that calling everyone an antisemite is not helpful to Jewish people, right? You're not defending them. You're actively hurting them.
Our Green Party candidacies are outlawed in most of the U.S. No wonder we poll 1%.It's the kind of thing that gives us the Green Party polling 1% or whatever ever 4 years, and the libertarians polling 1.5%. They can't win a local county commission race
No they're not outlawed, and the Greens get 1% because their ideas are fringe and the candidates are running vanity campaigns. If they want to be taken seriously for POTUS, how about win ONE congressional seat? There's nothing more useless IMO than doing nothing for 4 years, then running for POTUS with a 0.00000% chance of winning. Our Green Party candidacies are outlawed in most of the U.S. No wonder we poll 1%.
Green Party of Tennessee, Constitution Party of Tennessee, and Libertarian Party of Tennessee all have sued the state for ballot access. Judge William Haynes ruled that state law was unconstitutional. No they're not outlawed, and the Greens get 1% because their ideas are fringe and the candidates are running vanity campaigns.
