why do you always ask instead of discussing ?Why do you ask? Why do you care? What's the point of the question?
why do you always ask instead of discussing ?
everybody is discussing instead of trolling .join us :mrgreen:The OP has one word in it. One.
Now stop being lazy and actually post something worth discussing, or stop complaining.
Whites don't suffer from systemic racism.
But it possible for a white man or woman to get their feelings hurt if someone tells them they don't like them because they are white in which case that would be racism as well - but it would be powerless. Hearing that might ruffle their feathers. Make a sensitive fella' cry.
But seeing that Caucasians currently far outnumber every other race - I doubt it will effect them that much.
If white Americans become the minority in this country racism towards them could become systemic. So it has potential for becoming an issue for them.
there is a difference in prejudice and discrimination.
And I'd bet dollar to donuts that when whites lose power in the US, (and you know that they will simple due to evolutionary and biological laws) the same people stating that "its only actual racism when X race has more power than Y race" will quickly change their tune and will conveniently "forget" that they said such.
If white Americans become the minority in this country racism towards them could become systemic. So it has potential for becoming an issue for them.
thanks
What harm can those with no power do to those who have all of the power? Fill us in.

I see you voted no in your own poll. How do you know what is happening to white people in the US?
Um, yeah. News flash: there are people who don't like white people because of their race, yes.
Drive around in Da Hood a while, you'll meet some.
No, it's not. Discrimination is when one person or group is selected over another for one reason or another. For example, I could discriminate against you and not ever acknowledge your responses because I might discriminate against anyone who includes "dale" in their user name. Racial discrimination is when the criteria for selection is race. But discrimination is when society enforces or supports that prejudice
I voted no because it is insignificant. Whites are occasionally targeted for crime in some neighborhoods and get insulted now and then, but that is about all that happens. On the other hand some minorities are targeted by the police, face discrimination in the justice system and employment and are frequently portrayed as dangerous undesirables in the media. In addition past discrimination has left many minorities financially disadvantaged. The funding formula for schools, which are mostly based on local property taxes, is set up (perhaps unintentionally) so that minorities attend schools that are seriously underfunded compared to schools that are mostly white.
To summarize, some minorities face a lot more systematic and institutional racism than whites. The amount of discrimination against whites due to affirmative action is actually miniscule.
