The smiling woman who was once the face of the Affordable Care Act's website has come out of the shadows to stand up to the "cyberbullying" she says she suffered after the law's flawed kickoff.
Only a cowardly piece of scum would threaten this woman.... But wait.... Was she threatened and bullied? Actually, she was not. She was just made fun of. Guess what else? Nobody knew who she was either, other than a symbol. Nothing more, and nothing personal. Nobody sent her threatening emails. Nobody posted in social media that she was a whore, drug user, or otherwise engaged in any activities that would smear her. All people did was to make fun of her because she was a symbol of a program that they do not much care for. When she volunteered to become a symbol of Obamacare, her picture became a public figure, and rightly or wrongly, opened her up to ridicule from those who do not like the program that she is a symbol for.
What is cyberbullying? I would say that the teenaged girl who committed suicide because she was constantly threatened with harm by her school mates was being bullied. As for THIS lady? I am really broken up about her feelings being hurt...... NOT!! Cyberbullying? I call BS on that. If she wants to be seen as a symbol by the public, then she had better either grow a thicker skin, or just get the hell out of the kitchen.
