We do report fraud, but I'm saying it still happens. Many people have high blood pressure. The physician can prove they have high blood pressure and say Viagra was a treatment (even though it was for ED). I've even seen prescribers write for a higher dose of drugs (viagra and other meds) and told the patient to break them in half so that they can get more pills for their money. This is also fraud and we call out on it all the time. Although, when it comes to Medicaid my main problem is the coverage of narcotics and their abuse.
Did you hear about that fraud case here in Dallasw. Some Dr was signing up homeless people for in home nursing care! It was something like 300 million the guy got.
