I have history to rebut Sanders retarded "Make the RICH" pay and give everyone what they need socialist idiocy.
good. please share your cites which offer this history
The level of economic and historical ignorance of people thinking Sanders is on to something astounds me, seriously.
from your posts, you are easily astounded. even by facts
Look at any country socialism is tried, seriously tried,
then let's look at the quality-of-life index and see which nations provide superior living conditions for their citizens:
Quality of Life Index by Country 2015
notice that those which are driven by social democracy, the brand of politics Bernie espouses, tend to have high livability indices
that alone shoots your argument to hell
share with us again the practices of venezuela that Bernie wants to impose in the USA. first, do that, and THEN we can make a comparison using venezuela to illustrate what should not happen
or look at germany, where its people receive advanced training at no personal expense. ditto for advanced medical care. you know, the kinds of changes Bernie is proposing
... the belief government can dictate equality of outcome in life is not just foolhardy it is down right dangerous.
you have taken the individual out of the equation
Bernie advocates helping the individual succeed. there is no magic available to government to assure outcomes. however, the government can harness the assets of a nation to provide opportunities for all. what is unfortunate for the USA is that while profitability is increasing, the vast majority of it is going into very few pockets. that needs to change
The job of Government is to ensure you have the same chance as the next person to work hard and excel at life,
finally, a point with which we both agree
... not be held down and punished for success.
i know of no one who has been punished for being successful
my speculation is you cannot identify anyone either
The hells people, look at history, and don't tell me "This time we'll do it right!" cause that next time is ALWAYS the next time.
we actually get many things right. which is why we are the greatest nation on the planet. but that does not mean we are without significant issues which can, and should, be improved. providing better education for our people, better health care for our citizens, and opportunities for economic success for those who strive to succeed are not unreasonable approaches to public policy. i look forward to your telling us what is wrong with those ideas
