Then you've got the Alaskans and "you call that dinky little thing a crab"?
Snows and Kings are bigger, but the flavor just isn't there. They are better than blue crab, but they can't hold a candle to dungies. I grew up eating dungies (one of my dad's best friends was a crab fisherman, so he'd come by our place with a few 5 gal. buckets full of crab 2-3 times a year) and they are simply the best crab there is. Great sweet flavor, lot's of meat and readily available.
