That is true. But it's also true that the message is delivered by actually pissing on the image of Christ. I could definitely see Christians dismissing the message because it's delivered in such a disrespectful manner.
Irony doesn't automatically make something demand respect.
I agree. No matter how you look at it, the insult to modern day Christians couldn't be more clear. I'm not saying it deserves respect, all I'm saying is that it's always better to know what you're actually being insulted about. If only to craft a suitable response and avoid lending more credence to the initial irony.
